Tonight we had roasted chicken, spicy frijoles, and avocado on wilted spinach.
And double oh yes.
Homemade pizza tonight.
Sausage, chips and beans.
Now that I'm kicking my heels looking for a new job I've just browsed the cupboards.... Now do I have a tin of tomatoes on toast and a dash of brown sauce. Or beans on toast with grated cheddar cheese for dinner.
I'm thinking a pizza night. Hawaiian maybe? Let the arguments begin...

Bit of a meat fest with us at present, today we ate one of the more annoying cockerels from this year with all the trimmings (much more agreeable in the pot).
Tomorrow it's one of this year's unfortunate drakes, he's already chilling in the fridge, I am going to make a Toulouse style casoullet .
Lovely home-made cottage pie. It's one of my favourite eats and SWMBO makes it just the way I (and she) like it.

Nearly the last of the leftovers: Mexican turkey soup with stock, shredded turkey, sweet potato, tomato, onion, cumin, coriander, and garlic, garnished with avocado, crisped tortilla strips, and cheese.
A bum burner of a chilli that had been lurking in the back of my freezer for a good while, I had forgotten how hot it was, my lips went numb, very nice though. Paul.
White beans for lunch
Tonight we had penne pasta with a creamy tomato sauce, using the dishes, plates, glasses, and tablecloth that my wife found today at a local thrift store. She finds some great deals and has a lot of fun doing it.
Last of the Christmas turkey over a big bowl of Dhal. Champion!
Son and Daughter in Law, over for the Night. She has been working abroad a lot.So no Turkey leftovers !
