What are you eating tonight?

  1. A couple of pork chops seared on the flat top, sweet potatoes and apples baked with butter, brown sugar and cinnamon, and cauliflower with cheese sauce. Blackberries for dessert.

    Nothing! Seems the NHS spend money building canteens but don't open them at lunchtime.

  3. Tonight we had chicken burritos with mole sauce and Spanish rice. (Well, I had chicken. My wife went meatless.) Yum.

  5. Tonight we had butternut squash ravioli with Portobello mushrooms and a spinach salad with olive oil-sweet rice vinegar dressing. It was quite good.

  6. Tonight we had a regular favorite, a yam with chili beans, melted cheese, and sour cream. Good carbs.

  7. Tonight we had mahi-mahi burgers with honey mustard sauce over brown rice, with carrots and broccoli. Quite good.

  8. Tonight we had salmon wraps and corn-tomato-avocado salad.

  9. Improvised a quiche with the leftovers: wafer-thin ham, leak, comté, eggs, crème fraîche, puff pastry, herbes de Provence on top.

  11. Tonight we had warm roasted chicken and cauliflower salad with spinach, lentils, chopped dates, and slivered almonds. Strange combination, but it works. I only ate half of my bowl, so I have leftovers for lunch tomorrow.

  12. Tonight we had Tahini Peanut Linguini with Spinach, Carrots, and Chickpeas.

  13. For dinner this evening we had penne pasta with chicken, spinach, sun-dried tomatoes, chives, and a Greek yogurt-cream cheese-parmesan sauce.

  14. This evening we had another Buddha Bowl dinner, this one Hawaiian, with chicken, peppers, sweet potato, pineapple, and avocado, topped with a spicy tomato sauce, over a bed of rice and spinach. Quite good.

    No pic - Bird's Eye chicken pies, Bird's Eye waffles, Bird's Eye petit pois.
    Just taken daughter back to Uni - they were in the freezer :rolleyes:
     
  16. This evening I, for our TV snack, I made cashew clusters, with just roasted cashews and slightly spicy, bittersweet Mexican chocolate. Delicious, and very easy to eat too many.
