Very impressive results !

Hi thanks for the comments, it's a couple of years since I've done any of these but if I remember correctly the following is roughly what I did to get these.

I used a range of different lenses i.e. 105mm macro or 24-70mm Nikon with my Nikon D300 or D800 cameras. Normally an aperture of f/14 – f/16, ISO 100 and an exposure time of around 2-3 seconds in a low light environment so that the speed of the flashes captures the image not the shutter speed.

Lit by 2-3 off camera flashes (1 in commander mode the others in slave mode)

I also used an opaque white acrylic background with coloured gels on my flashes to create the different coloured backgrounds.

The first image is a drop hitting a sheet of acrylic the others are in some small clear acrylic tanks I made, these allowed me to light from below the drop impact.
