TOBS or D.R Harris Sandalwood?

I bought an AS sample of each & today wore the latter. Superb scent & longevity. I actually like them both for their different approach. A store in a town near me has a bottle of TOBS Sandalwood Cologne that captivated me at first whiff.

I realize that the Sandalwood genre is as wide open to interpretation as is "Barbershop" with eleventy million versions out there. These two however are stately to my nose.

I haven't tried the TOBS A/S (yet) , I do have the D R Harris sandalwood and really like it.
As you say superb scent and has good longevity.
I also have the Geo F Trumper cologne and thats a good sandalwood too.

There's no contest: TOBS. Always. I also have the DR Harris, but the scent is on the sweet side whereas the TOBS is spot-on.

I like the TOBS for two reasons: first, the scent; second the cost.
