Tallow cream

Hi have seen one or two creams/soaps which contain tallow. Is tallow animal based and advisable substance to shave with?

Yes , animal fat. And it is one of the popular basic ingredient to make shaving soap.

Which shaving cream contains tallow? Creams as in squeezy tubes? I know some of the soft soaps(croaps) like Cella contains tallow but as far as I know the creams in tubes don't.

I'm pretty sure one of the old Proraso creams in the huge bladders (are they 500ml?) does or at least did contain tallow. I'll do some research.

Yep, I think Vitos is the only shaving cream in a tube which contains tallow. I've not tried it myself, but I've been tempted to get a sample from Connaught at sometime.
