Still alive yo.

I admit I am intrigued by the thought of using a modern top tier DE blade in an injector razor. Is there any video showing how to cut & fit the blade?
Just trim so the DE blade is same width as as an injector. Length of the cutting edge is identical so no trim required that dimension. Kitchen scissors will do. The "wings" on each side you can just snap off after loading in the SE. Use the one dot plate.

Will the cut down DE blade work via injector magazine to load in an injector razor?

Edit: I cut down an Astra blade and no luck in that the DE blade is too thin and will not supplant the more rigid injector blade via the loader. :(

Bogeyman mentioned that the thin DE blade will flex trying to push out the thicker injector blade already in the razor. I would assume though, if one loads an empty magazine with DE blades and starts off with an unloaded razor, then it could possibly be achieved.

However, an injector razor theoretically always has a blade loaded or the steel blank issued with new ones as it's a SOB to get a new blade in one if it's sans blade.

Thanks to @jmudrick for testing the idea I thought I would give it a try today using my Supply SE and a cut down Polsilver stainless.
It was very good to be fair, quite a lot of feedback from the blade, I don't know if this was blade chatter or not but I got a good result and I now have a use for my 1 dot plate!
I will try using my E2 and report back in due course. :)

If it works as such in the E2 then I might have to pick one up. I've always wanted to have an E1, but they are rarer than a lawyer who hates money.
