I will be purchasing a new lens soon, looking at a 50-500. Obviously it's going to weigh a bit, so I thought I'd look at a new strap. I'm after something wide, that will take the weight. Anyone have any recommendations ?
Currently I use a cheap one that uses the tripod mount on the bottom of the camera, basically it's a sling type. I'm not happy with the quality though.
With the new lens though I will be using either my monopod or tripod so I'm wanting to free that up so I can have the quick release mount screwed in there instead. So it will be back to the strap mounts on the camera. Obviously aware that I need to be careful with all the weight going on the camera mount too.
May be best that I carry the new lens in the carry case it comes with, use then swap back over.
