Prep: Valobra Glycerlanolina soap, Myrsol Emulsion
Brush: M&F Brad Sears L7 Tigris Finest Badger
Soap: Stirling Lemon Chill
Razor: Feather AS-D2
Blade: Vintage NOS Wilkie Light Brigade (4)
Post: Thursday Plantation Tea Tree & Witch Hazel
Scent: APR Festivus P&C 2018 LE Splash

Pre Paste & Cut Perth Meet-up shave.
Lovely cooling mentholated lather from the Stirling soap. I am falling back in love with my AS-D2 - it is such a precise instrument, and with a sharp blade like the Light Brigade makes shaving so simple.
Three super-comfortable passes for a DFS+.
But no doubt, the star of the show was the APR Limited Edition P&C Festivus Splash. Made for the warm festive season in the Southern Hemisphere, and simply glorious! And the citrus notes matched the soap nicely.

Yaqi Moka Express - Vintage Old Spice - GEM Contour II - Treet Super CS #3 - Alum - Quorum A/S - Dove Nourishing Cream

The vintage old spice is one amazing soap. It will have to be introducd to more of my razors, just to see what they've been missing.
The Contour II has a similar head and flip top action as the Natural Angles and also shaves similarly.
I am smooth, and very comfortable.

Good day to you all!!!

Schick J3- Golden 500
Schick Proline [ 3]
Floid Vigoroso A//S Lotion

Again I used a Golden 500, but this one fitted with an AC Schick Proline Blade as opposed to the standard Injector blade
used yesterday. Shave wise they are both smooth yet efficient, with very similar quality of finish finish apart from the Proline not being as good on the lower jaw line.

It dawned on me when deciding which post shave to use that I don't have a tobacco aftershave. Must remedy this soon.

P. - I'm fond of a tobacco themed shave - two aftershaves I would recommend you have a look at -

Extro Tabacco - apart from superb skin feel - it has excellent scent longevity - it lasts all day. Odd looking stuff - it separates out in the bottle between uses - you need to shake it well before using. My other half loves the smell - as do I.

Vitos Tobacco - more your standard type of aftershave - cheap as chips - my skin loves it - quite a sweet tobacco smell - but it is pretty ephemeral - the scent doesn't last long. An excellent product for me.

Hope this helps - yours - I.

Spot on, Barry. I love the stuff. My sons do not, however, and call me Grandpa when I use it :D.
Doesn't bother me a bit!
My Mrs doesn't like it either Tom. ‘Old sweaty socks' is how she chooses to describe the scent. She also says that as I seem to be happy walking around smelling like that, she is 100% confident that I'm not having an affair. Charming!

Thank you Iain

I've got my finger over the buy button on the Extro
