Brush: Semogue Barbear Classico E.L
Soap: PANNACREMA Nuà via rossa (Challenge March Foroafeitado).
Razor: Paradigm 17-4 SS and Gillette 7 O'clock Super Platinum.
Shaving: C-L and retouching.
After: Myrsol Emulsion and After shave by Jabonesbyluna.
Enjoying the soap, it has a very pleasant aroma.
See you tomorrow…

Shave of the day, Wednesday 07 March 2018 - Birthday shave 
Pre-shave - Warm shower, face wash Musgo Real Classic Glycerin Oil Soap, followed by warm water splash.
Cream - Bluebeards Revenge Shave Cream.
Brush - Simpsons Chubby 2 Synthetic.
Bowl - Little Wren Pottery.
Razor - Colonial The General SS.
Blade - Kai Captain (Pink) Mild (day 2).
Post shave - Myrsol After Shave Balsamic Water.
A great shave - read an interesting article on Executive Shaving, about a 2 pass shave - XTG and ATG.
Gave it a try - very impressive results: 2 passes XTG and ATG on the face with WTG and ATG on the neck.
Face still feels BBS 15 hours after my morning shave. I had ordered some OSP Barbour Shop cream and splash for my birthday, which was waiting for me when I came home. I did not need to shave and decided to leave my face alone.
I'm looking forward to trying out the OSP Barbourshop cream. I also orderd some Proline B30 blades

Prep: Hot shower:/ L'Oreal Men Expert ~ Hydra Sensitive Birch Sap Shower Gel.
Pre:
warm wet flannel to my face.
Wilkinsons Fruits ~ Coconut & Vanilla Body Butter.
Brush: Chinese Horsehair.
Face Lather.
Soap: Tabac.
Blade: Gillette Wilkinson Sword Saloon Pack.( 2)
Razor: Muhle R41.
Warm wet flannel/ cold wet flannel to rinse my face.
Post:
Alum Block./Cold Water Face Rinse./Aloe Vera Gel.

It's been a long time since i last used the Tabac duo and as always, the performance from the soap & a/s was astounding, a wonderful slick protective lather from the soap with a classic old school scent from this superb old school duo.The R41/Gillette WS saloon pack blade, performed with sheer smoothness, mowing through my stubble effortlessly...what a wonderful efficient razor the r41 is.
Another very enjoyable 3 pass + pick ups silky smooth shave with no errors to report,yet again.
Finishing the shave off with a very generous splash of Tabac A/S.
My face is feeling super smooth & smelling Tabac devine..

The Supply SE V1 like some other modern S/S Razors , designed to use old format blades did not work for me as it was far too mild. Since I acquired a V2 aggressive plate things have changed a lot.
Using a Proline blade there is a good amount of blade feel, and I can get a nice close all round finish without any hassle. Today was no exception, and though I enjoy the feel of the Razor in comparison to lighter Injectors, I do not think the Shave Quality is any better than those I get from Vintage Injectors.

I have had a Futur for years and only bought the Ming Shi because it is cheap and I wanted to compare the performance. To my surprise I found it to be as good as the original (YMMV) and find myself reaching for it when I want an adjustable shave!
Due to @Blademonkey I have a tub of OSP Fougere and this provided a lather and scent I have come to expect of OSP soaps.
3 passes for a super smooth shave
This may be my last SOTD until next week. My partner and I leave for NI tomorrow morning for a long weekend. Preparations for the wedding are in order as time is marching on!

Yesterday I became custodian of Newbie pass-around box #1, so I might be doing some experimenting for the next couple of weeks, but I'll be sticking with the Sputnik blades I've been using lately, and this morning swapped the blade from the Gillette latter-day Tech that I'm still struggling with into my ever-dependable Wilkinson Sword Classic.
Cella soap/Body Shop brush/Wilkinson Sword Classic razor/Sputnik blade (#4)
I love the mild but distinctive smell of this soap, and was pleasantly surprised by how quickly it started to lather up. However, I did apply it a little too soon, and it would have benefited from a little more work. It was fine for my face, but the thin-ness of the lather quickly became apparent when it came to shaving my neck. Still I'm very happy with my shave.
Every day's a school day!
