The soap was a kind and unexpected gift from @Tom. Thanks Tom. The scent, although fairly light, is lovely. The bay is very much in the background with the prominent note being citrusy/woody. Sort off. Hence the aftershave. Performance was fine, but I don't think I got the best out of the soap. It lacked a little slickness. I will have to do a couple of test lathers to find it's sweet spot. But overall, a very good shave.

This lovely shave was originally planned for yesterday. But I was too upset due to our beloved cat Miranda having to be put to sleep on New year's Day. Her other back leg suffered the same affliction which resulted in the amputation last July. This gave us no other choice.

A other excellent shave from the Treet 7 Days blade, no nicks or weepers this time.

Last day of the holidays for me, so time for a nice relaxed shave earlier today after spending quite a few days on the road. Chopped down 2 days worth of growth to give a near BBS in 2 passes with touch ups. ​
