First shave with a vintage London Bridge. Many have speculated that they are re-badged Wilkinson Sword Light Brigades.
Not sure if that it true, but what I can say is that this blade was excellent. Very sharp and smooth - a pleasure to shave with.
My first use of a newish APR aftershave - Borked. Another fascinating scent - very fresh with some fruity notes. The two notes that leap out for me are grapefruit and lychees, and thus a good match for the soap scent. Finished with the quintessentially British DR Harris Traditional cologne.

After yesterdays wallow in mediocrity I sent for the cavalry.
The stubble surrendered without so much as a battle cry.

Pre:

warm wet flannel to my face.

Wilkinsons Fruits ~ Coconut & Vanilla Body Butter.

Brush: APShaveCo ~ Cashmere synthetic.

Face Lather.

Soap: Proraso Green.

Blade: Gillette W.S. Saloon Pack. (1)

Razor: Parker 65R.

Warm wet flannel/ cold wet flannel to rinse my face.

A new shave set up to start the last weekend of 2017,it's the maiden shave of the APShaveCo ~ Cashmere synthetic brush which was a christmas gift from my siblings, the verdict?..A total joy to use it's the softest feeling brush i've had the pleasure of using to date, but still has plenty backbone, ideal for either face or bowl lathering, a superb addition to my shaving den..i'm well pleased with it.

A enjoyable 3 pass + pick ups no-irritation silky smooth shave with no errors to report.


Finishing the shave off with a generous splash of Proraso~ Green A/S.

My face is feeling very smooth & smelling devine.;)

Another superb shave with the Fat Boy & Feather. In the past two days my opinion of a Feather has done a complete 180! I am looking forward to experimenting with them in other razors. Starting with the iKon 102 tomorrow. Great scent and soap as always, a very good match and clone of a wonderful Creed scent.
