Prep....Shower ~ L'Occitane Pour Homme savon
Razor...Ever Ready Natral Angle / HFT / E Bar. Made in England
Blade...Ever Ready Corrux NOS freshly stropped
Soap....L'Occitane ~ Cade
Brush....Zenith Boar
Bowl....Little Wren Pottery
Post....BBA Post Shave Balm
Scent....Tom Ford ~ Tabacco Vanelle ....Oil from Mr Perfume

I thought I would try the ER HFT while its American counterpart the Gem HFT was away on loan, nickle plated unlike the chrome plated Gem but just as good in every other respect.
It was fitted out with the ER Corrux blade which should be called the Ever Lasting Corrux blade, with a strop between shaves it's just as sharp and smooth as it ever was.
The L'Occitane Cade soap didn't dissapoint with its lather or scent and lathered up a treat in the bowl with the boar behind it.
A good shave was had and was left as smooth skinned as I require and my requirements are high!
Finnishing off with the BBA PSB followed by an application of the wonderful Tom ford copy oil Tabacco Vanelle . Job done :)

Wishing you all a great day.........:)

Greetings,

Since the Ming shi 2000S was passed on to me i've had consistently Good shaves, today didn't differ.

The Nivea Men products,as always performed wonderfully making my shave very enjoyable.

The settings i used for each pass are perfect for me, the razor doesn't seem to be fussy what blade i
pair it up with, however with it been an aggressive razor, i can use non aggressive blades and still get superb
smooth shaves.
A effortless BBS shave with no errors to report.

My face is feeling extremely smooth, cool & smelling divine.;)

Enjoy your day, ladies & gentlemen.

Thursday 7th September 2017
Prep: Shower
Razor: Unnamed French
Blade: Kampfe Bros. Star
Brush: Muhle XL Synthetic
Soap: Portland
Aftershave: Simple Moisteriser
EDP: Guerlain L'Heure Bleue

It never ceases to interest me just how different various hollow ground blades perform. These old USA Kampfe blades are relatively soft steel compared to Swedish and Solingen blades and they will never take quite such a sharp edge but the other side of the equation is that they give a super face friendly gentle shave with a nicer 'velvety' feel; a little less closeness for more comfort.

Regards
Dick.

Greetings All,

Double whammy today!!

Wednesday shave.

One days' growth and warm shave

Preparation – face washed with Clique Liquid facial soap (mild)

Pre: None
Soap: P&B Citra Royale
Razor: Rockwell 6C (4P)
Blade: Shark SS (1st)
Brush: RazoRock 400 Noir (face lather)

Post Shave: Cold water rinse, a shower and to conclude Proraso aftershave lotion (red) and Nivea 2 phase.

Back to business this morning, but changed blades to the Shark. 3 passes and the irritation is considerably less. P&B CR whipped up a great cushioning lather as always and smells great.

Thursday shave.

One days' growth and warm shave

Preparation – face washed with Clique Liquid facial soap (mild)

Pre: None
Soap: Tabac
Razor: Rockwell 6C (4P)
Blade: Shark SS (2nd)
Brush: Prorosa Omega (face lather)

Post Shave: Cold water rinse, a shower and to conclude Proraso aftershave lotion (red) and Nivea 2 phase.

The Shark blade is better on the second use and the Tabac soap, once enough water is added its create a great, slick lather – I do not get much scent from mine though. Anyhow, 3 passes and feeling good this morning.

Cheers,

Brian

First shave with the Olaf Rasmussen Surgical Prep razor. I put it on a Weber Bulldog handle. The simplicity of the low profile head design together with how securely the blade fits and is held in place is immediately apparent. The angle is intuitive; it is agile, about medium in terms of aggression, on par with a Weber PH or Merkur Slant. Audio feedback is loud. The feel through the finger tips although muted by a solid SS handle is still there.
