SOTD060618.JPG So for the second day in a row decided to give the Yaqi DOC (Mellon) head a whirl, this time paired with the Bulldog handle...... it felt much more comfortable in the hand today.
Wanted a nice summery soap so went with the Citra Royale from P&B, and it paired nicely with the weather today!
2 Pass WTG + XTG went well again, and no nicks / cuts. My neck, either side of my throat was a bit pink, seems to be my trouble areas. Nice splash of the Fine Platinum AS - which did 'burn' a bit, but not for long. Nice to see that a few of you are also using the Yaqi OC's ;) I must take credit for the sudden interest ha ha.

Being very careful not to disturb the healing process from the error on Monday, I managed a pleasant shave from my birth year razor. The added benefit of two lovely menthol hits did not disappoint.

A very comfortable three pass shave for a DFS+ result. The XPEC cream is a croap with about the same consistency as AdP cream. It is a top shelf performer, with easily sufficient residual slickness for buffing and touch-up strokes. It seems that many users of this cream have not liked the scent. Not me - I find it delightful, with a soft rose note beautifully intertwined with cedarwood, oakmoss and a touch of citrus.
The Steampunk Viola, with its vibrant violet punch, was a good match and a nice way to finish.

A bright sunny day and and a nice refreshing shave was called for.

Needed a nice Shave today after Two days pushing blades past their optimum.The only good thing was that no blood was spilt.
Made a good choice with the O Clone, as with the aid of the Vitos the Shave was smooth and comfortable, and with ease I attained an ultra close all round finish. Will avoid overusing a blade, but do wonder how long a Twin will last in the O.

It's been a while since I posted - bloody depression. Good news is I'm currently listening to Hard As Iron from the Ram It Down album by the mighty Judas Priest. :D
