Shaving recipe for today.


Prep: Cool shower:/ L'OREAL~ Hydra Sensitive Birch Sap Shower Gel.


Pre:

warm wet flannel to my face.

Pears ~ Transparent Lemon Flower Glycerin Soap.

Brush: Omega 48 Pro.

Face Lather.

Soap : OSP ~ Neroli.

Blade: Bic ~ Chrome Platinum.(4)

Razor: Kanzy K100.

Post:

Cold Water Face Rinse./ Homemade Lime, Lemon+Peppermint Oil & Menthol Crystals Witch Hazel Mixture./ Dana ~ English Leather A/S.


Aloe Vera Gel.

Final shave with the Bic C.P. blade, which showed no signs of dulling 0r dragging throughout the shave, as with all my blades i hand strop them before use, removing any hidden Burrs from the blade edges.Chrome/Platinium blades, in my limited wet shaving experience, sometimes feel 'dull' on the 1st outing, but once the coating starts to come off during the shave, it's sharp & smoothness becomes noticeably much better. Hand stropping seems to speeds up the process for me,leaving the blade feeling more comfortable.

The OSP Soap, excelled the shave a wonderful slick protective lather & a equally superb post shave feeling...What more do i need.

A comfortable 3 pass + pick ups DFS with no errors to report.

Finishing the shave off with a generous dollop of Aloe Vera Gel.

My face is feeling smooth & smelling devine.

No work today...and as I am working all weekend I intend to 'chill out'. The baby of the family was at the vet yesterday to be spayed....so needs lots of TLC and a lot of fuss!

Warm wet flannel/ cold wet flannel to rinse my face.

Cold Water Face Rinse./ Homemade Lime, Lemon+Peppermint Oil & Menthol Crystals Witch Hazel Mixture./ L'OREAL ~ Soothing Birch Sap Post Shave Balm.


Lattafa ~ Pure Oudi EDP.

A new shave set up to start the weekend..I haven't added the Bic c.p. to my blade rotation for quite a while, paired together with the EG was a superb match, resulting in a effortless 3 pass silky smooth shave with no errors to report...The p&b star noir provided me with a luxurious slick protective spice fragranced lather, which made the shave a very pleasurable experience, leaving a wonderful post shave feeling to my face.

Finishing the shave off with some generous squirts of Lattafa ~ Pure Oudi EDP to the pulse points.

My face is feeling smooth & smelling devine.

After a very nice Rotation with some of my Vintage SE Razors, I have gone modern with S/S Razors using AC Blades. I find these very easy to use provided that you observe the use the weight with no pressure mantra. In fact not only do they provide smooth close Shaves, but that today seemed amazingly quick.

The P&B Star Noir ,i won after entering a pif kindly put on offer by @shevsky in july .I also won some citra Royale & Sanskrit too + 2 packets of Shark super stainless blades..I like all the P&B soaps i have tried but, i was instantly drawn to the Star noir..A wonderful soap & fragrance that lasts throught the shave & beyond..:)
