Prep: Hot shower:/ L'OREAL~ Hydra Sensitive Birch Sap Shower Gel.


Pre:

warm wet flannel to my face.

Pears ~ Transparent Soap.

Brush: Chinese unbranded synthetic.

Face Lather.

Soap : Arko & Palmolive Classic Shave Sticks (Grated) .

Blade: Rapira ~ Swedish Supersteel .(4)

Razor: Merkur 34C.

Post:

Cold Water Face Rinse./Homemade Lavender + Tea Tree Oil Witch Hazel Mixture./ / Old Spice ~ Original A/S.

Morrisons ~ Aloe Moisture Lotion.

The Rapira S.S./Merkur 34C paired together wonderfully, resulting in a comfortably efficient 3 pass + pick ups shave with no errors to report.

As always the hybrid Arko/Palmolive classic shave sticks provided me with a superb slick protective lather, as with alot of my soaps i could quite easily shave with these classic in-expensive duo soaps for ever, but like everyone else i like a variety with my shaving products.

My face is feeling comfortably smooth & smelling devine.

Finishing the shave off with a generous dollop of Morrisons ~ Aloe Moisture Lotion.

Had a five day growth, due to an annoying skin break-out that required me to avoid shaving. Given the heavy growth, I chose a combination that would be efficient with same, but not too aggressive on my skin. For me, the Merkur Futur on setting 2 fits the bill nicely. I also chose a comforting skin-friendly soap in the Haslinger Schafmilch (Tallow), and the cloud-soft Rooney Silvertip brush.
Plenty of dense, slick lather was generated, and the combination of the Futur razor and P74 blade effortlessly reduced my beard to a DFS in two passes, and did not upset the apple-cart with my skin. Happy days!

Had another Shave with a PAL, this time using a Proline blade rather than a Japanese Schick that I used yesterday. The Razor/Blade combo felt more aggressive but was not unpleasant. The finished Shave was equal in terms of Finish Quality to that attained yesterday. Though these AC Blades are not as Long as a standard Injector blade, I have used them in a variety of Razors without any problems. Though I find the Japanese Schick nice to use I will not be purchasing any more, as the inexpensive Proline delivers such a good Shave.
