3 full passes for the closest shave I've had with an SR. I really, really like this razor.

Soho Joe Original Face Wash
Maseto 30mm silvertip
Tabac Soap
F.Herder Abr Sohn 77 6/8 square point
A little alum and
Old Spice After Shave Lotion (no, I know, it's not the old Shulton one ;))

Really getting the hang of an SR shave now and reaping the rewards - almost no irritation and lovely smooth feeling skin. Happy days.

Greetings,

Every traditional wet shaver should try shaving with a slant razor, i for one was very hesitant about purchasing one, thinking you had to master a entirely different shaving method, because of the slant angle, how stupidly mistaken i was, on my maiden shave with the 37c & it's bigger sister the 39c both became a instant joy to shave with.

Both of these wonderful german razors are not aggressive at all, but smooth, sharp & efficient giving me a sublime shave everytime i shave with either of them..

Today the silver star blade,on it's second use matched up superbly with the 37c.

Another very enjoyable 3 pass + pick ups silky smooth shave with no errors to report, yet again.

Finishing the shave off with a generous splash of Benjamins ~ Mentholated Bay Rum & some liberal squirts of oud 24 hours Edt to the chest & pulse points.

My face is feeling super smooth & smelling devine.;)

Enjoy your day, ladies & gentlemen.

Wednesday 28th March

YaqI 24mm Tuxedo Marble Handle
Wickham 1912 Russian Leather
Merkur 34C HD
Treet Carbon (1)
Lime witch hazel
Nivea 2 Phase Aftershave

I was looking for a fuss free shave after a day of running around like lunatic at work finishing my work quota for the end of the quarter. (Revenue, revenue, revenue has been the title of many emails for the last fortnight ! ) I didn't even get a lunch break I was that busy.
I knew Russian Leather was on the cards but it wasn't until I stepped out of the bath that I knew which razor and blade I was going to use.
The Merkur HD is about as fuss free as you can get. The Carbon blade, while not the sharpest is worthy of using with this razor. (I wouldn't push one past two uses though)
My usual two pass routine, WTG and ATG resulted in very near BBS.
Keeping it simple, some 2 Phase Aftershave to finish and I was left feeling "brand new".
That certainly "Did the bizzo" . . (Reference to Scotch Harry from Minder) !

Razor: Rockwell 6C (#4)
Blade: Polsilver Super Iridium
Brush: Stirling Synthetic 24mm
Soap: Brutalt Bra Barbersape
Post: Razorock Acqua - sample

Great soap, mild and not intrusive scent-wise; solid in making lather but brilliant in glide & protection. A good, refreshing post-shave too.
Still, as much as I wanted to leave it without the aftershave I was eager to try the Razorock splash. A fresh, not dominant, citrusy scent, reminding me of some mainstream fragrance. I could have sworn I encountered it before multiple times.
2 more days to finish my ''One razor One month'' challenge. Can't wait.

OSP Chypre Cream
Giles Scuttle
Igor by Tom White
GEM Stainless Coated #2
Alum Wash
Brut Original A/S
Lacura Moisturiser

I can confirm that Igor gave me a very close shave 2 days ago. The minimal regrowth proved it. I tried the high setting but found it a bit too close, in fact made the same error as Mike @mpf9ret and nicked a bit on the chin. So switched back to mid setting for the second pass, switched down for the tidy up, but found that a bit too mild so switched back to mid to finish off.
Another fine shave with great software. Well pleased.

Razor - Bic 1
Brush - Omega S10065
Soap - Pre De Provence
Post - Nivea Balm
AS - Eyup Sabri Lemon

A few sneaky mid week beers diminished my enthusiasm for the DE and instead I used a Bic disposable much to my shame. It wasn't the most enjoyable to use but produced fairly smooth and comfortable results and I could even manage a 3 pass shave.
