Razor: The Silver Ringer German Hollow Ground 6/8 Custom Abalone Scales
Brush: Dogwood customs with TGN HMW 26mm (on loan @Acer89 )
Soap: Calani Oriental Plum
Post: Calani oriental Plum Balm
Spash: D R Harris Arlington
EDC: D R Harris Arlington.

I had such a wonderful shave with this razor yesterday that I could not resist to use it again today. A wonderful 2 pass shave with a few touch ups.

The brush is outstanding. The handle is beautiful and the knot has cloud soft tips, no scritch, amazing splay and flow through. It holds so much soap with so little effort.

Calani is up there with my favourite scented soaps and always performs.
I really enjoyed that.

Enjoy Yours! :)

Some fancy scales you have there Wayne, very nice indeed . P

CO Bigelow shave cream
The Personal Barber razor
The Personal Barber synthetic brush
Pol Silver blade
Bart's Balm Amber and Moroccan Jasmine lotion

Finished with CO Bigelow Elixir Blue Cologne.

Tried my CO Bigelow shave cream today (yeah I know it is just rebranded Proraso). I brought a stick of Palmolive for traveling with but the water in Vegas is very hard and difficult to get anything protective out of the Palmolive which normally works a treat in my soft water at home.

SOTD
Pre: Hot Shower
Soap: Signature Soaps Carpa Goats Milk Shaving Soap
Razor: Gillette Superspeed Red Tip
Blade: Ladas (1)
Brush: Graydog Horsehair Custom
Post: Hot & Cold Water Rinse
A/S: Old Spice
Balm: Rockface Shaving Butter

This goats milk shaving soap from Signature Soaps in the UK is great. It's unscented at the moment but the base formula is very good. Very slick and the post shave feel is excellent. I hope they release this in different scents. The vintage Gillette red tip paired with the Ladas blade made easy work of my stubble. Finished with Old Spice.

And this afternoon's shave was themed.

R89/ATT Colossus/Feather
Muhle synthetic
Gentlemen's Tonic

BA bottle pressure gauge

Exactly the same as the other day as I remain on the boat at work and this is all I have bought with me. Then again if I had just a single choice of Shaving gear this would not be far from it. As a guarantee great shave these products all deliver a damn fine experience. They all work and they all work well.

Happy smooth face

I was going to include a watch again but I did that the other day and I only have the one with me anyway. So I have included the pressure gauge as an alternative 'something to include'

May be we should have a 'what pressure gauge are you using today? ' thread.

Razor - Gillette Tech - 1952 Ball end
Blade - Polsilver (3)
Cream - Truefitt & Hill, sandalwood
Brush - Omega 11047, Mixed Midget
Balm - Arko Fresh.
EDT - Hugo Boss "Tonic"

Borrowed my brother's Mixed Midget brush. First ever use of this badger/boar brush. Sadly, found it too small for my hands. Struggled to face lather due to the size of the knot. Plenty of backbone - just ended up painting the cream on instead. Think I will revert back to my normal brush. It was nice to try something new though. Still very impressed with the Polsilver blade after reading the recommendations on TSR.

P.S. Arko Fresh had a menthol kick on this lovely Spring day.

Wednesday evening

Phoenix and Beau Spitfire
RazoRock BC Silvertip 24mm synth
Face lather
Gillette SS Red Tip
Personna Israeli Red
Thayer's Cucumber and Aloe Vera
Speick after shave

I thought I'd revisit some razors that I've neglected a wee bit during my frenzy of SE and Feather AC adventures. So the trusty Red Tip came to the fore. Apparently, it's one of the more ‘aggressive' models in the Gillette closed comb canon. In light of this, I opted for the smooth Personna blade.

Nice and smooth shave; albeit with a bit more buffing to get the desired finish. I'm still enjoying the Spitfire: a lovely lather and post-shave feel.

The Personna IR, I think, I'll reserve for my more assertive razors - the Gillette Old and Fa Tip Piccolo, for instance. For my other Gillettes, I'll stick to my rotation of Nacets, Rubies and trusty Astra SPs.
