Prep: Cold Water with Clinique face wash
Razor: J.A.Henkel Friodur 72.5 (On Loan)
Brush: Maggards 26mm Synth
Soap: Mikes Natural Soap Lilly Of The Valley
Post: Cold water rinse with Alum & Clinique after shave Balm
EDT: 4711

Really impressed with my first use of this synth brush. Excellent performer great ability to face lather with super soft tips.

Mikes Tallow Soap has excellent slickness qualities and that was primarily the reason I chose it as I was using a straight.

I am slowly falling in love with this razor. It appears to keep a super edge after stropping.
Although she has bitten me on several occasions I call them love bites. :)
Learning to straight shave has been a long process for me but I am really pleased I am persevering with it. There has been a few times I nearly threw in the towel. ;)
A single pass DFS trouble free shave for me today.

Clinique balm is gorgeous along with the wonderful 4711.

This was an xmas gift, wasnt expecting much..

Scent was ok, not much lather, halfway through the first pass I glanced at my bowl to see foam, the badger had eaten my hard work, had to squeeze her twice to finish the shave, scraping the bowl like oliver twist, an effort you can do without!

Blade - Supermax Platinum Plus (2)
Brush - RazoRock F-400 Big Red
Cream - Cella Crema Da Barba
Aftershave - Cella Aftershave Lotion

Excellent shave best one iv had over the Christmas period so far the platinum plus blade felt perfect in this razor , the big red whipped up the cella with ease to be honest I think this brush could create a lather out of anything , if my cella aftershave looks like its not going down in the pictures thats because its not I had to buy it again I over tightened the first one I had and the lid snapped off with the glass inside :mad: just a heads up if anybodys thinking of getting it its great stuff ...............:)

The brush, with its very high loft, is luxurious like a vintage Plisson HMW, and it made great lather with the JHL soap. The Sportsman aftershave has some of the same powdery notes as Houbigant Yama but is lighter.

Not a lot of effort required at all.
The slant razor paired with a fresh Shark is a formidable force. Easily erasing all signs of prickly stubble
The Irish Fern soap performed as good as always, easily whipped up by my trusty 400.
A few squirts of Oud 24 and I smell pretty smooth too

Prep: Hot shower:/ Yardley of London ~English Lavender Soap Body Wash & Vosene Shampoo .


Pre:

warm wet flannel to my face.


Wilkinsons Fruits ~ Coconut & Vanilla Body Butter.

Brush: Anbbas Boar.

Bowl Lather.

Soap: Arko Shave Stick.(disk)

Blade: Lord Platinum Class .(2)

Razor: Muhle R41.

Warm wet flannel/ cold wet flannel to rinse my face.

Post:

Alum Block./Cold Water Face Rinse./ Aloe Vera Gel.


Selin~ Lemon Cologne.

Greetings,

A very efficient 3 pass + pick ups silky smooth shave with no errors to report, yet again. The R41/Shark S.S. was another great duo, The Arko disk provided a superb lather for the shave with a wonderful post shave feeling.

Finishing the shave off with a generous splash of turkish Selin Lemon Cologne.

My face is feeling super smooth & smelling devine.;)
