I've found that massaging any leftover soap into my face and leaving it, whilst I clear up my kit, gives a great post shave feel; if it helps?

A first for me with regards to the razor, soap and brush.
The razor bought from BST and previously honed by our very own @pugh-the-special-one has just given me an outstanding 2 pass shave. So sharp, so smooth and beautifully balanced.

The CRSW soap does not bare the name "Glide" without reason. Slickness is out of this world. Great cushion and a sublime scent with excellent post shave feel properties. Highly recommended!

I gave the brush several washes prior to using it to remove any excess dye. The brush was worked on by the very talented @Acer89 . Thank you James for this outstanding job, It looks like Black Badger hair but has the performance of 2 band finest. A great versatile knot with lovely soft tips and sufficient back bone.

A fantastic shave enjoy yours gentlemen! :)

A shave with another Fine soap - Platinum. The scent is a pretty decent take on Aventus. I am convinced that the Fine soap base is very good - it takes a bit of time to load, but the lather is very creamy, slick and persistent, with a nice post-shave feel. Three passes and a clean-up for a BBS, and I am :D.
A tobacco triple combo with the Alt Innsbruck Emulsion and Cologne, followed by Aramis Havana.
Now for the FA Cup Semi.................(and a shout out to my best enemy for today @Barry Giddens)
