SOTD 25 Jan.JPG
Pre Shave: Hot Shower + Body Shop Maca Root face wash and Proraso White

Blade: NOS Personna (#3)
Brush: Vulfix 404
Soap: Taylor of Old Bond Street - Mr Taylor's
Bowl: Korium
Post: Alum Block, Cold water and Humphreys Witch Hazel
AS: Bulldog balm

Another very close and smoothish shave, this time with some irritation, I am now suspecting the NOS Personna blade Maybe they are only good for 1 to 2 shaves.

Razor: Edwin Jagged DE89 (on loan)
Razor blade: Gillette Platinum
Brush: Simpsons Manchurian Captain
Soap: Fine Platinum
Post: Thayers witch hazel and Fine Platinum aftershave

The last razors from selection James @Acer89 very kindly sent me to try. Many thanks James, really appreciate it.

Initial impressions where very good. Nice comfortable shave but it took a number of touch-ups on the neck to get a finish I was happy with. The finished results were good though.

We lost a true original yesterday...

I stayed with the Feather Pro but went back to the heavier OSS handle to try and get the best out of the Mongoose graciously loaned to me by @Barry Giddens - cheers Barry it's very much appreciated.
Well I remain unconvinced, I still haven't had a shave as enjoyable to the ones I get from the General.
The end result is the same as the General but more effort and pick ups are required on the jawline and neck of all places, not usually my problem areas.
You're welcome Kevin. And your conclusion matches my thoughts. I do like the Mongoose, but I much prefer the General.
