After yesterday's shave I looked to a set up that I had more belief in and it delivered delightfully. I'm really impressed with the PLB, I think it might be up there with the best Russian blades which are usually my favourites.

Hello gents,

This morning I used Trig (Pakistan) blade for the first time and found it too dull for me. I had hard time cutting 3-days growth beard with Trig, I think this blade might be OK for daily shaving.

A/S: Rose of Bulgaria Lotion and Balm
Brush: Vig Shaving 26 mm Finest Badger (China)

First use of the all metal WS razor....and it is more than capable of delivering a very nice shave.

Thought I'd try Muhle Synthetic (on loan from James @Rohleder) with the DG Icarus base. I bloomed the soap while taking a shower. I used the brush completely dry and loaded for around 30 seconds. This created a decent looking lather and impressed how the brush performed. It did seem to hold onto the lather a little though.

Sadly I still find the Icarus base lacking, especially cushion/protection.

Very smooth incident free morning shave with the iKon open comb razor. The little Simfix brush made a fantastic lather with the Pannacrema soap. Did I mention the divine fragrance and after shave feel of the Blu?
