Brush: APS Shaving Co~ Cashmere Synthetic.

Face Lather.

Soap : Proraso Sensitive.

Blade: Bolzano Superinox .(9)

Razor: Weishi 2.0 Adjustable. (Settings) wtg,4. xtg,4. atg,+pick ups 5.

Post:

Cold Water Face Rinse./Homemade Lavender + Tea Tree Oil Witch Hazel Mixture./ Selin ~ Turkish Lemon Cologne.

Palmers ~ Cocoa Butter Formula 24 hour moisture.

Next ~ No 85 EDT.

Greetings,

The bolzano Superinox blade's paired togther with the weishi adj was still superb on it's 9th use!...I feel as though this blade could give another shave, so i'm going to take it to it's tenth use! To get nine 3 pass + pick ups shaves from one blade, and to have no tugging or dragging issues, is astounding, but to take to ten that will be truely amazing.

I intend to see if it can be done..Hopefully it won't be to my curious peril.

Another very comfortable 3 pass + pick ups near bbs shave with no errors to report...A very efficient smooth blade, that i intend to add more often to in my future SOTD set ups.

Finishing the shave off with a few generous squirts of Next ~ No 85 EDT to the pulse points.

My face is feeling smooth, & smelling devine.

PAA Starling SE-G \Windrose Handle
Gem S/S [ 1 ]
Pitralon Classic A/S lotion

I thought I would try out the latest modern SE that uses Gem Blades -The PAA Starling SE. This is of lightweight construction being cast aluminium, it does not have the looks of many Vintage SE Razors nor is it of such clever construction being a 3piece Razor.

I got it so I could compare it with the S/S versions which I have tried, i.e. Sabre L1 & the ATT SE-G. As it is very light I chose to use it with a S/S Handle. Initial strokes showed that it had good blade feel but there appeared to be some drag from the head. Considering that a fresh Gem blade was in use the Shave was quite smooth, though a bit harsh around the Chin. The overall quality of finish was quite good, though not on par with those that I get from my Favourite Vintage SEs. However, I found the Starling to provide me with a better Shave than either the Sabre L1 or the ATT SE-G. The L1 is so mild it takes forever for me to get a poor Shave, while the ATT SE-G did not even deliver a Shave that being remedied when it was tweaked by a Forum Member.
