Blade: Gem #3
Razor: ER 1912
Brush: Maseto 26mm Silvertip
Soap: L&L Harmony
Scuttle: Giles
Post: Thayers Witch Hazel
EDT: Thierry Mugler A*men Pure Coffee

A lovely warm 3 pass shave using the magnificent scuttle and L&L Harmony.

The 1912 worked its magic to leave me BBS. Irritation and trouble free.

Brush as always punched well above its weight and after my Witch Hazel I applied the gorgeous scent of A*Men.

Enjoy your shaves! :)

Pre: Warm water face wash

First use of a modern SS DE, many thanks to Rob (@Blackmass) for the loan.
First impressions:
It's a beauty, very solid, compact and heavy. The heads a bit bulkier than vintage OCs but I've used bulkier heads without a problem.
I'm off for a shave BRB.
First shave:
Well, it's not just a pretty face, >30hrs growth gone, as Tommy Cooper liked to say, just like that, helped along by the super slickness of the Sudsy Soapery.
It's not as smooth as a couple of my vintage OCs but it was only my first go and I know it will get better.
Very impressed indeed.

Cheers for the tag Kevin. Good to read the positive results.

PRE - Shower + almond oil

SOAP - Soap mixture. Haslinger sheep milk + Haslinger aloe vera

BRUSH - SOC Boar

RAZOR - Wade & Butcher

POST - Almond oil + Pinaud Clubman classic

I had a brainwave to mix the Haslinger sheep milk(2) and the Haslinger aloe vera(1)and holy shaving God it worked wonders!! Super lather and unreal comfort. I highly recommend it.

The straight did what it always does, axed through the hair in no time!

Finished off with a tiny drop of almond oil + AS combo and out the door to shave other people for money.
Shave on!

Pre Shave: Hot Shower + L'Oreal Birch Sap Face Wash and Proraso White
Razor: Razorock Hawk
Blade: Feather Soft Guard (#3)
Brush: Vie Long Horse
Cream: ToBS Jermyn Street
Post: Alum Block, Cold water and Thayers Lavender Witch Hazel
AS: American Crew Tonic

The Feather Soft Guard has to be my least favourite AC SE blade, I did manage a very decent shave though. This is the first time I have used this blade in the Hawk and it seems better in this razor than the El jefe or the General (Alu) that I used it in before. With the Hawk I found there is wide window in which the blade seems to cut well but only a very narrow angle where it feels smooth, drift out of this sweet spot and it feels rough, but once I found the right angle it was easy to keep it. All that said I can't see me reaching for these blades again in a hurry, unless they were the only ones I had left, which is very unlikely.

Pre: Valobra Glycerlanolina soap, Myrsol Emulsion
Brush: Semogue Owners Club Boar
Soap: Klar Sport
Razor: ATT Kronos M2
Blade: Personna Lab (1)
Post: Myrsol Emulsion
EdT: Penhaligon's Endymion

Gave the Klar Sport a first run today. It is a hard soap (looks triple-milled), so I used my SOC Boar to get stuck into it.
The soap comes in a small diameter tin - looks cute, but doesn't make loading very easy.
I to'd and fro'd trying to get it right, but in hindsight, my first pass was probably mainly proto-lather.
2nd and 3rd passes were much better, and a very close shave resulted, but the first pass had done the damage, and I had some irritated patches on my neck.
Myrsol Emulsion to the rescue yet again.
Any Forum members who have experience with this soap, I'd appreciate it if you've any tips to pass on regarding lathering this soap, apart from "Load it like you hate it";).

Razor: Parker Variant (5/3/1/2)
Razor blade: Gillette Platinum (2)
Brush: TGN 26mm HMW set in a Dogwood Starscape Red Mallee Wood & Resin Handle
Bowl: Little Wren Pottery
Cream: Fitja Havn
Post: Wickhams Cashmere

Another brush on loan from @Acer89Thanks again James.

No issues with this one. It worked superbly and created a lather in no time. Very soft, one if the softest I've used. Plenty of flow though and enough backbone for me. A thumbs up from me.

Another great shave with the Variant. Thought I'd start on 5 to see how aggressive it could get. It wasn't too bad but setting 2 is the sweet spot for me.

The Fitja cream is a great performer but the scent does nothing for me. Fortunately Wickhams Cashmere aftershave was on hand for a stunning finish.

Laters

I love the Klar soaps in their small tubs but as you say lathering from such a small tub is not ideal so I use a sharp pen knife and scrape waffer thin slithers from the top of the cake / puck into my lathering bowl and add a couple of drops of hot water to bloom and then lather up with a boar brush, works a treat. :) P.
