P. - None more lavender - I'm a beginner with the scent - I doff my cap to you. Some of the Welsh Caldey Island edt lavender is currently on its way to me. I think the Bart's is really good? Scent and performance wise? Yours - I.

Greetings from Berlin; the Muhle shop is amazing; very slick.

Photographs to follow when I get home.

All the best,

Chris

Hi Chris,
If you're still in Berlin (?) check out A Different Scent. It's a perfumery which also happens to sell Thater brushes.
It would be rude not to.;)

Sorry if it's too late. Only just catching up on the forums. Been off work sick all week and my right ears blocked and it's driving me made!:confused: Hence my reply at this ungodly hour.

Cheers

Thank you I.
I've not tried the Caldey Island edt lavender yet but will do as it's been recommended a few times.
The scent from the lavender oil in Bart's AS lotion is spot on, and has real real escentual oil so will always get a thumbs up from me and the performance is outstanding.
The Norfork Lavender co sell loads of lavender stuff all made from the lavender they grow themselves and then distill into lavender oil and is sold at a good price. Well worth a look.
The OSP Lavender shave soap is currently in stock at The English Shaving Co and is fab, if you've not tried yet you must, OSP and Lavender,, can it get any better! :)
Please let me know what you think of the Caldey Island gear because need to restock soon and want a good lavender edt and always value your opinion.
All the best, P.

Loving your razor, can you tell me anything about it? :) P.
Thanks for the interest - it is a different blade as is a kamisori style or more accurately, symmetrical non-folding razor (with the same bevel on both sides) so can use both hands when shaving like a western style razor. Is a thick wedge and thus heavy and a bit unwieldy compared to other razors . . . so a challenge to use. Would say Alex Jacques is very talented by the looks of most of his interesting, unique and unusual razor work - and would say he has a sense of humor by his logo below as found on his razors . . . (also has some razor sharpening videos on YouTube - and will have to study them as need this blade sharpened up for my particular beard - and put that mad pumpkin steel to work).

Thankyou for your reply, most interesting. I have a couple of Iwasaki Kamisori but would like a Kamisori with a western grind one day and a razor like your's would be just perfect.
Happy shaving :) P.
