Shaving recipe for today.


Prep: Hot shower:/ L'OREAL~ Hydra Sensitive Birch Sap Shower Gel.


Pre:

warm wet flannel to my face.

Pears ~ Transparent Soap.

Brush: Frank Shaving ~ Synthetic.

Face Lather.

Soap : OSP ~ Neroli.

Blade: Dorco ~ Prime Platinum .(1)

Razor: Parker 24C

Warm wet flannel/ cold wet flannel to rinse my face.

Post:

Cold Water Face Rinse.//Homemade Lavender + Tea Tree Oil Witch Hazel Mixture./ Dana ~ English Leather ASL.

L'OREAL ~ Soothing Birch Sap Post Shave Balm.

Another relaxing Sunday 3 pass + pick ups near bbs shave with no errors to report.


The frank shaving synthetic brush perfomed wonderfully, creating a luxurious slick protective lather, which was more than adequate for my shave...Out of all the dorco de blades that i've sampled, the Prime Platinum is my favourite, it's such a smooth forgiving, yet sharp blade that has been totally suited to my skin type, and has paired together with every razor i've matched it up with...A very comfortable shave.

Finishing the shave off with a generous dollop of L'OREAL ~ Soothing Birch Sap Post Shave Balm.

Head cold + menthol shave:
  • Razor - Kanzy Victory
  • Blade - Voskhod (3)
  • Brush - Omega 10066
  • Cream - Arko Fresh
  • Post - Proraso menthol aftershave + balm
As part of my regime to shift a head cold, went full menthol + a cold water shave. The former seemed to make sense, the latter an accident as the hot-water didn't kick in.

Arko cream is cheap as chips, and the Fresh (which used to be called ice) is cracking stuff. Never had any issues with lathering or it's performance.

Nostrils cleared for all of about a minute :oops: (I'll try some whisky tonight)

A very pleasant Sunday Shave with this Razor/Blade combo which again delivered a great Shave. I must say that I feel like a change as using a single Razor palls after a few days, though I tend to stick to one type rather than going from say SE to DE then Injectors.
