Seventh shave with the Zeppelin, using the 0.5 mm gap:
Invariably a comfortable shave with DFS+ result.

I have not used this specific PAL for a while, and as I may be passing it on a test run was required. Prior to the advent of AC/SEs into my life, this was a Razor which I often used for special occasion shaves , as despite having a harsh beard it is mild and forgiving so I could get an ultra close all round finish without any problems.
Today all went well, and by putting in the work required I got a nice close all round finish. It was in fact superior to the one with a Supply yesterday.

I have no idea why it has taken up until now to try Mitchell's Wool Fat. Superb performance!This is defitnetly being added to the den!

A very close 1 pass shave. One of those days when I couldn't be bothered with the fuss of a brush or lathering a cream. I can highly recommend the non-foaming gel. A good alternative to gel in a can. Ideal when dashing out of the house for work. A lovely menthol after feel ta'boot.

Just needed the one pass for a close shave. Fuss free! Still loving the Kanzy Tech homage. For under £6.50 it's a very good razor. A lazy & cheap shave all round.

TOBS Rose ~ Simpsons CL2 ~ QShave ~ Personna Lab Blue ~ SV Manna di Sicilia

Man I love TOBS rose cream, it's not quite as slick as some of their others but the scent is lovely. First try with the Futur clone courtesy of @MrK1 (thanks again) it's an odd thing... The blade is not held central in the head so one side has about 1mm more exposure than the other, tried flipping the internal assembly but that made it even worse. As a result I had to use it as an SE razor as one side wouldn't cut a damn thing lol, the one side which made contact did a nice job, smooth and easy. Another first, Manna di Sicilia... I'd read this was a "classier Tabac" which is complete nonsense, it's nothing like Tabac. Manna smells of pure amber to me, just the single linear note with no evolution, depth or complexity... It's pleasant but rather inoffensive and boring.

I do like the occasional warm lather shave. The Giles scuttle does the job brilliantly with a lovely limey scented lather from the T&H cream.
Great result from the General/Proline. Very happy.

A shave at my Mother's in N Ireland using the kit I keep there for Hand Luggage Only flights over.
She has no Internet presence and I don't 'do' phones for either photography or posting on line.
I was driving back to wales ....so the car (and now the freezer) was filled with delicacies which are difficult to find in Wales.

3 passes for a BBS finish:) and I am looking forward to a Bacon and Egg Soda on Saturday...washed down with a glass of Buttermilk!
