COBRA/SCHICK :: DECLARATION :: MIKE'S :: ST. JAMES' LAVENDER & GERANIUM AS GEL

Greetings All,

Monday shave.

One growth and warm shave

Preparation – showered then face washed with Clique Liquid facial soap (mild)

Pre: None
Soap: P&B Spitfire
Razor: Gillette Slim Adjustable (I3) (setting 5)
Blade: Shark SS (6th)
Brush: Razorock 400 (face lather)

Post Shave: Hot then cold water rinse, Nivea 2 Phase Michael Kor AS and then Nivea Cooling Balm.

3 passes without incident due to the slickness of the Spitfire, however, I did not do my usually weekly razor and blade change and found the Shark during the last pass slightly tuggy, but I won't complain

Cheers,

Brian

Have a good week :D

Monday 13th November

Birch Tar Soap
Vitos Preshave Cream
Natural Ireland Irish Stout and Seaweed Soap
Yaqi 24mm Tuxedo
Eversharp Hydromagic I2 with a Personna Blade
Alum Block and Rinse
Homemade Buttermix
Blue Stratos AS

Many thanks to @Manicdee for giving me the opportunity to try this soap The scent is primarily seaweed and the lather was thick, creamy and slick with a great post shave feel.

Three passes for a wonderful BBS shave:)

Pre: Soap blooming water
Razor: Rockwell 6C Plate 4
Blade: Gillette White Platinum
Soap: Phoenix and Beau Spitfire
Brush: Stirling Synthetic 24mm
Post: Fine American Blend AS

Love the Spitfire scent. It's light and not dominant but it really suits my senses.
Performance is not even discussable. Stunning amounts of lather with good slickness and protection.
The Platinum Gillette gives the best audio feedback in my Rockwell so far.
Also, it's shaving really good. it could be my new top 3 blade. :)

Prep ~ face wash - Birch tar soap
Razor ~ Hone Type 15
Blade ~ KAI Stainless
Soap ~ Vitos Red
Brush ~ Cadman Bell Silvertip
Scuttle ~ Giles Shaving Co
Post ~ BBA PSB
Scent ~ Penhaligon's Opus 1870

A wonderfuly close and efficient shave from my Hone paired with a Kai blade. The Vitos Red was as slick and protective as always, applied with the fab bell brush from Mervyn Cadman.
These blades do improve the performance of the Hone somewhat and are smooth in use.
A few sprays of Opus 1870 and I'm good to go! :)

Have a nice day..........:) P.
