Blade: Gem #2
Razor: Ever Ready Stream Line
Soap: LPL Rose De Pushkar
Brush: Razorock 400 handle with 24mm 2band Finest knot
Post: Calani Oriental Plum Balm
EDP: Rose of Bulgaria

The Stream Line is an outstanding piece of kit. She is aggressive but faultless in regards to its performance and smoothness.
I find it is a razor that you really do not want to go over skin that you has already shaved.
In other words, insure you have a good cushion of soap on your face before using it or it will result in burn.

The brush is turning into a superb little work horse. The best move ever was to have the synthetic replaced with the badger knot.

The soap is tremendous. The tin is small which is a little annoying but it is worth the wait to load this stuff.
Beautiful scent and outstanding cushion and slide.

Finished with a touch of balm (Another gorgeous scent) and a generous helping of the EDP.

Enjoy your shaves! :)

Wed 14th Mar

RazoRock Plissoft 24mm
OSP Bay Rum
Schick Type “ O Clone”
Schick S/S Twin ( 1- Japan )
Massimo Dutti A/S Lotion

In order to have my Shave today I had to sacrifice the blade loaded in the Razor, as I wanted to try it with a Twin blade. Contrary to expectations loading the new blade was not a problem.

The Razor is smooth during a Shave, mild with a reassuring degree of blade feel. The combo made short work of my tough beard, and I was left with an ultra close finish all round. Quite possibly the easiest most comfortable and closest Shave that I have had from any type of Razor.

Pre: Valobra Glycerlanolina soap, Castle Forbes pre-shave gel
Brush: Savile Row 3824 Silvertip Badger
Soap: Stirling Margaritas in the Arctic
Razor: Feather AS-D2
Blade: Vintage English Gillette White (3)
Post: Myrsol Emulsion

No shave photo as time was limited, so just a previous photo showing the fragrance used tonight.
Three passes for a DFS+. The Vintage Gillette blade works really well in the AS-D2 razor.
It has been quite hot this week in Perth, so the mentholated Stirling soap was very welcome.

I haven't used this little brush in a while and I don't know why because it's a great little face latherer.
I also haven't given the 41c much use, again I'm at a loss as to why. It dispels the myth that OCs are inherently aggressive and if anyone is looking for a road into OCs I'd highly recommend it.
All I can say about Vitos is, if you like the smell of marzipan and haven't tried this lovely tallow soap then you really should.
And then if you feel your skin has been eating too many marzipan sweets you can always supplement it with the fruity Floid Black.
Happy Shaving one and all.

First ever Tech shave.....

Razor - 1950's ball end Tech
Blade - Feather (1)
Brush - Vulfix 404
Cream - The Gentlemens Face Care Club
Balm - The Real Shave Co.

Unusual for me to use a DE. For something different, picked up a cheap Gillette Tech. No date stamp, bit of reading would suggest its circa 1952. Lovely smooth shave. Usual WTG and XTG was all that was needed. Been reading that it's super mild. Did a good job, and I ususally use a Schick Canadian E type. Not sure if it's the razor, the Feather or a combination of the two. Mighty impressed. The Gentlemens Face Care Club is my favourite cream. Lovely smooth lather! That will certainly have helped. The weight of the razor was not an issue, although light. It was the handle. Too narrow. May just need getting used too.

Another first today - whilst shaving, had 10cc playing in the background. Not a band I know apart from a couple of the big hits. Enjoyed them too :)

Happy shaving & posting gents.
Richard

That Valobra soap you used for your prep is outstanding, the best I've found so far. P.

Evening Roy,

Unfortunately I have not had the fortune to try the "Apricot" but all I can say is the "Rose De Pushkar" is an outsanding soap.

As soon as you hit the soap with your damp brush the scent literally bursts through.
The cushion and slickness is amongst the best I have used to date.

To conclude:
I highly recommend this soap and I have enough confidence to say you will not be disappointed. ;)

Go on spoil yourself, you know it makes sense,:D
Regards,

Wayne.:)
