Pre Shave: Hot Shower + Bulldog face wash
Razor: iKon 102
Blade: Personna Lab Blue (#1)
Brush: Semogue 610
Soap: Vie Long Stick
Post: Alum Block, Cold water and Humphreys Witch Hazel
AS: Sir Irisch Moos balm
EDT: Guerlain Habit Rouge

First shave with the iKon 102 and the Vie Long soap. Superb shave apart from the tiniest nick on my nose, which was clearly my cack handedness. The Vie Long soap is great, it quickly produced a decent lather, a very mild scent to this soap which is fine. I am very impressed with the iKon 102, I already have the iKon X3 and I get varying results with it. The X3 is not bad, it just seems to shave closer sometimes than others for me, but it feels very safe. For a first shave with the 102 it was very good, I only needed 2 passes for a very close shave. The last DE razor that impressed me this much on a first shave was the Timeless Stainless, this iKon is a seconds from Connaught Shaving and I cannot see any flaws or blemishes with the naked eye.

Gillette slim
Astra sp
Wilkinson brush
P&B spitfire soap
TOBS sandalwood aftershave

First shave with spitfire soap,( Also got the solid cologne ). A very distinctive, different scent, i like it.
The soap was easy to lather and slick. I will be trying more of the P&B soaps in future.
TOBS aftershave :):D. I'm sure there are not many better aftershaves out there. Fab :p:)
All said and done a lovely shave.

Hello friends.
Shave of March 12, 2018.
6th Challenge Day of Foroafeitado March.
Pre: Oil Pre No. 1 of JabonesbyLuna.
Brush: "Sangre de Doncella" by alfredo finest (New in the challenge).
Soap: PANNACREMA Nuàvia rossa (R M F).
Razor: Timeless Scalloped .95 with handle TRH2 (New in the challenge) + Gillette Platinum.
Shaving: F-C and retouching.
After: Thayers and After JabonesbyLuna.

Today's shaving is defined by a word: "Clumsiness". Numerous incidents like not loading enough time the badger brush (it is easy to get used to the great synthetic as the Semogue) and is that this brush needs more time, requires more attention than I have not dedicated.
The impressive, smooth and effective razor, armed with another Gillette of the "blues" to check if all the blues are equally disappointing. To add a little more confusion, it has not been like that, they have been smooth and with a good cut, now the result forces me to try the disappointing Gillette Blue again with this tool, lest the Paradigm not work well, we'll see.
To continue I used the Timeless awkwardly, the hand seemed to be full of wires instead of fingers. Despite these drawbacks a perfect razor has managed to compensate with a remarkable shave on clumsy and heavy fingers.
Anyway, tomorrow will be an other day......

Pre: Gillette Series Irritation Defense Face Wash
Razor: Gillette Aristocrat Junior #41
Blade: Schick Premium (1)
Cream: Vicco Turmeric
Brush: Yaqi 24mm Synthetic
Post: eShave Lavender Aftershave Soother

Back after a brief hiatus due to fractured rib and work eating too much into my personal time. I use the Vicco cream once in a while for the therapeutic qualities of the turmeric on the skin. It's a good performer too and I 've bowl lathered it today which was worth the little extra effort to get a really top notch lather. I acquired the Schick Premium blades in a sampler from Russia a couple of years back. Despite the fact I've found out since they're really repackaged German Wilkinson's, I quite like them.

Greetings,

Another superb 3 pass + pick ups no-irritation silky smooth shave with no errors to report.

The Monsavon was the star of the shave this morning it's performance & post shave feeling are excellent,i face lathered directly from the tub, if i was to be picky, the tub is slightly too small , but the soap's performance is outstandingly brilliant at a very reasonable price, i will purchase another tub once i've used this one up...Next time out i shave bowl lather with it.

Finishing the shave off with a generous splash of Brut ~ Original A/S.

My face is feeling silky smooth & smelling devine.;)

Enjoy your day, ladies & gentlemen.

Razor: Muhle R89 on RazoRock bamboo handle
Blade: Sputnik (2)
Soap: Nanny's silly soap Signature lime
Brush: Erasmic

The soap was from a sample, so it's a face lather today, and despite being a bit fiddly to get going it came up a treat. I love the scent of this one (shame it's out of stock on the website). A little more care and attention saw me fail to cut my face open this morning, and I was rewarded with a much more efficient shave than I'm used to from my own limited stable of a Wilkinson Sword and a Tech. I feel a RAD developing...

Tue 13th Mar

Omega 11137 boar
Lea Classic soap
Schick Type I1
Schick S/S Twin [ 10- Japan ]
Lea Classic A/S Lotion

For those who prefer short handled Razors and would like to try a Twin blade the Type I is an ideal choice.
Feels good in the hand being easy to manoeuvre around all planes, is very effective and delivers without
hassle a truly close all round Shave. Shaving with a Twin blade is a different experience as one feels the second blade doing its work after whiskers are lifted by the first blade.

+1 as far as the Monsavon shave soap is concerned, a wonderful and perhaps slightly underrated soap, punches above its price point. :) P.
