Socks

John Lewis or M&S is my usual start and end point for socks, but my missus has told me to get a little more 'stylish' in the hosiery department so bought a pair of Paul Smith striped socks (you just got to love PS stripes on anything as far as I am concerned), a pair of Burlington blue Argyle, some bright orange Fair Isle socks by Chup and some 'Fat Face' VW Camper van socks.

All to be hidden in a pair of DM boots........so she bought me some DM shoes which is sacrilegious as DM's only come in oxblood boots as far as I am concerned. Good job I have some nice tan brogues as well.

I'm still on my mission to replace every casual sock I have with Darn Tough ones.
This week these black and orange ones (Go Giants?) arrived.

I bought two pairs after reading this very fine socks

Being a huge fan of the Darn Tough socks (life time warranty and Merino wool) I'm slowly replacing all my non-dress socks with theirs so I just picked up a three-pack on Massdrop:)
This longer model normally sell for about $17-20 a pair so $37 for three felt like a decent bargain...and, well, winter is coming.
Not sure what UK shipping would do to this deal though.

You can't beat a good pair of socks, you've only got one set of feet, look after them!

Folk really need to try Bamboo socks. They are the softest, most comfortable hosiery I have ever worn and far better than my wife's nylon tights (it's a biking thing)
