Socks

Any suspender wearers in the house?

[not me]

Maybe the best socks I've ever owned.
Got my first pair a couple of weeks ago and have another 2-3 pair on their way.
Also, gotta love their warranty.

Now these look interesting. Post your knackered socks back and they send you free replacements. Socks don't tend to last me long so I could be in socks for life if their warranty also covers return postage to the UK.

Tough wearing is my priority. Might try some Army Surplus.

I think you'll love 'em. Do post back when you get them.
I received my order of Darn Tough socks a few days ago,
one pair of John Henry Boot Sock Cushion from their "Work" line

and a pair of Via Ferrata Boot Sock Cushion from their "Hike/Trek" line.

From what I can tell both are essentially the same sock but for the colour scheme. They are exceptionally well made and nicely cushioned along the bottom of the foot for great comfort. They look like they will last too, but I guess time will tell.

I'm glad I took Darkbulb's advice and went for a size larger than Darn Tough's sizing guide would have recommended, as the socks fit very snugly. Having said that, the Via Ferrata pair I received was noticeably larger than the John Henry pair, although both are XL, so there is some inconsistency in their sizing.

All in all, I'm very pleased with my purchase and recommend them if you are looking for a comfortable walking or work sock.

Yes, bizarre guarantee. Presumably they just hope that most people won't take them up on it.

They've been around for a few decades with the same guarantee and based on my experience with the socks by them that I've had for over a year I don't see them wearing out any time soon :)

Sure fire way of going out of business, that. You'd only ever need to buy a dozen pairs, if that ... ever.

That is my plan actually [emoji57]
I own 4-5 pairs now and for casual socks they are almost all I use

And as far as them going out of business they seem to have been doing pretty well over the past 35+ years ;)
