Soap storage advice

I have bought a puck of Haslinger to try as I hear it is rather good. However I have nothing to store it in, well a plastic container for now but what sort of containers do people recommend either buy one or just use some used cream bowls etc and how would I go about transferring the soap to the bowl if the bowl is smaller than the puck

If the bowl is smaller than puck, you could use a cheese grater to grate the soap, then take your grated soap and press it into bowl until it becomes solid. I use this method quite a lot and it works well. Hope this helps.

The best soap container I've had was from Maggard Razors online shop (US site). They deliver to UK but postage isn't that bad, especially if you're ordering some US stuff.
The soap container shown below is made from quality hard plastic, good sized diameter with loads of room for loading your brush. It's also quite shallow but because it's so wide it'll take quite some soap. Perfect size IMO.

You can buy Haslinger already in tins or plastic containers... from Yourshaving.com in Spain.
I have ordered from them many times and their service is excellent and Jose (owner/proprietor) is very good at answering question and provides great overall service..his prices are great too! Highly recommended.
