...is an intriguingly titled blue metal polishing compound. Has anyone used it on their straight razors? If so, whereabouts in the honing cycle does it fit in?

No I've not tried it but I'm going to get some just because it's called " Smurf Poo" nice one

I've used it for knife sharpening, rubbed onto a leather strop. I suppose it will hone a razor too, it's not too aggressive and gave a good edge

People Use Fine Pastes like 0.5 Chro Ox Etc..Coming Off the Hone before Going Onto Leather or for Refreshing Razors..As Far as this Stuff is Concerned Very Few Seem to Use it..Forums are Full of All Sorts of Weirdo's that Would Inject themselves with Smack if they thought it was Improving their Edges..

Billy, you're absolutely right but, like Blademonkey says, the name itself makes me want to own some. I'll maybe give it a go on a naff straight that I have and report back...

Do you mean smack doesn't make them sharper? Drat I'll have to go back to the mescalin then at least it works though I sometimes shave the wrong face, the green and pink one usually.

Try it and find out, I think it'll make you pretty sketchy around the edges, and after a while you might use you dull razor to cut your own throat.
