Shaving too complicated

Funny look. Reminds me of Futur. However, even if i wanted it, i 've never seen it here. Ordering 80+EUR razor from USA and having to deal also with the local customs and posts? No, thank you. I already have 1 russian package with blades and 1 chinese with Yaqis in a limbo. One hasn't updated the tracking since Nov16 and the other since Nov19. I am burned out. I think i am done with these international orders for good. I wanted a 2nd Yaqi best badger as spare. Right now i am so sick of the mail adventures, that i 'd rather buy a 2nd EJ pure badger from Amazon at the same price. Maybe i will change my mind after some months...
There are many users of Hone type 15s on this forum and they come from Europe not the USA.

@Obelix what brand is the razor? If MÜHLE then email them, thats what I did when one of mine started to crumble and they sent me a brand new one from Germany express next day delivery with lots of apologies... They are very honourable :)

They are all EJ DE89s from our local Amazon. Some others, with imitation ivory or imitation ebony, have an added problem that the imitation part, forms a sort of longitudinal crack the slowly expands from one end to the other. But i only mentioned the ones with breaking zamak problems. It's also why i bought 1 EJ DE89 Kelvin and 2 EJ DE89 fully chromed. Because i read the fully chromed, is slippery, so i bought 1 Kelvin because it is knurled and has good grip and got no imitation ivory or ebony, to avoind cracking of the handle.

Well, never seen them in a shop here... and at this point, i think it's a bit too late for further experiments. I am at 7 razors plus 1 Baili that i keep as travel only. I think it's too late to go back to trying new ones.
I'm sorry , I was just making you aware of a brass three peice mild razor that you was not aware of...... My mistake.

Bakelite is where it's at, as Peter Kay would say... “It's the future!”
Bakelite. I still claim that the Merkur 45 is the best DE I own.
The "future", however, is carbon fibre. Mark my words.
I tried to convince Hone to make one, but they said they didn't know where to start :D

Edit : Correction: The future is concrete.

Hone. Seygus.
Unfortunately I don't own a brass Hone (just the 15A), but my brass Seygus is my most used DE this year.
Hone and Seygus are also small manufactures worth supporting...

It's good that i learnt of the existence of the Hone (never heard of it before), but quite frankly, i think it resembles the Merkur Futur. And i think the Futur is one of the ugliest razors i have ever seen. Plus, at the price of 1 Hone, i can buy 8 Weishis. Which are also brass and mild and i have already tested and know that agree very much with my face. So, if i had known about the Hone when i first started, maybe i would have pursued it. But, now, throwing 80+ EUR for an experiment that may work or may fail , for a razor that has this "futuristic" look that i don't really like, isn't going to happen.

I think i may just grab a 5th Weishi for 12 EUR at Amazon... Actually today they had for Black Friday the gunmetal for 9 EUR. But i want another chrome, it's tougher, plus it comes with the nice plastic travel case. This way i will have 2 long handled and 3 short handled. I use a long handled, but ever since i used the DE89 Kelvin, i found that shorter handle is more nimble. So i 'd rather have more shorts now.

No, it wasn't your mistake. It was me not expressing my thoughts correctly. I am glad i now know that the Fatip isn't the only one. But i come to know of it too late.

Also, bakelites, i think are some like white strange razors? That seem like jade? I 've seen one of those in a local shop, but just seemed weird and ugly.

It will come. A razor that you could drop all day long! :)P.
I had a lengthy conversation with a state-of-the-art-concrete material scientist and modern concrete is effing amazing. Weighs well less than stainless steel.. tolerances are as good as you want them to be and it looks cool... unbreakable... cheap... the perfect material...

Bakelite comes in cream, brown, black and beauty is in the eye of the beholder, they actually shave very well.
