Shave of the day Saturday 22nd - Friday 28th July 2017

Merkur 33G Razor (The gold version of the 33c)
Shark Super Chrome Blade
Kent Infinity Synthetic Brush
Proraso Green Tea & Oat Pre Shave Cream
Speick Shaving Stick
Castle Forbes Lime ASB

The Kent Brush has been my go-to brush for about 3 years now. Loaded it with the Speick soap from the stick rather than sliding the stick over my face and palm lathered.

Regards
Ian

I thought I'd give the super Pal Super Carbon a run out in my second favourite Ever Ready razor. As smooth as a pebble on a well lapped beach.

It's a great shaver, I own this one and an adjustable Gibbs No 17. The shave on this is supposed to be milder one side but using each side on half my face I don't get any noticable difference. Equally comfortable and smooth. They are well built razors and under-appreciated in my opinion. Better shaves than many a Gillette.

I agree, I can't see a difference but might notice a slight difference at times, but it's hard to tell. I also agree that all the Gibbs razors are under appreciated. I think they're often overlooked because of the propriety blades, however, you only need to clip a small amount off each side and you're good to go.it takes 10 seconds.
