I've thought about buying this soap more than once and I still cannot pull the trigger :)

It seems like it's the kind of soaps I like but .... still not sure.

One soap that I think you might like Paul..... Catie's bubbles Santal Sensuelle ;) I love that dry / earthy scent.
I love a dry earthy scent, should be right up my street, thanks.
If you would like a sample of this Texas on fire PM me :) P.

+1 on the No10 cream.
I didn't know the matching balm was available. Must resit. . . . .

Edit, I just found the post shave cologne balm at a cracking price at allbeauty
Resistance is futile. . . And i promised myself not to buy any more shaving gear this month

What you said mate - it's a superb product and would be at any price. It's made for T&H by Creightons in Peterborough. They also do a matching moisturiser and facial scrub. It's worth keeping an eye on their website - they fairly regularly have sales, making it even better value. I picked up a healthy stash of the cream and balm at half price. cheers - I.

First SR shave for quite a while and enjoyable it was too
John Clarke and son 6/8th full hollow
Maseto 30mm lather monster
Vreto Lavander
I took my time as I haven't used an SR for ages and it gave a lovely shave, not as close as a DE but my technique isn't great, good enough though

Greetings All,

Saturday “Final Score” shave.

One (and a bit) days' growth and warm shave

Preparation – face washed with Clique Liquid facial soap (mild)

Pre: Prorosa Red pre-share
Soap: Molton Brown Soap
Razor: Gillette Super Slimtwist (Date P3)
Blade: Shark (1st)
Brush:proraso Boar Brush

Post Shave: Cold water rinse, followed by a shower then Proraso aftershave lotion (red) and Nivea 2 Phase.

With the football back, it was my Final Score shave (watching on BBC website) – lovely.

New hardware – THANK YOU @Tom for the Gillette Super Slimtwist – AWESOME condition and great price. With the Shark (becoming one of my top blades) the shave was wonderful. The Molton Brown soap surprise me. My second use of it and with the Proraso brush whipped up a great thick, creamy, slick lather that has a super scent – worth trying.

Overall, a great shave, I did not chase BBS today, but a happy man.

So, already seen Nut Job 2 this morning with my boys and now the sun is out, the wine is poured and ready for the second halves to start on Final Score.

Saturday pm.

Olive Oil soap and Man Cave Olivestone Facial Scrub
3P Preshave Cream
Semogue 1250 Boar Brush
Arko Soap
RR Black Hawk with a Feather Pro (#2)
Alum Block and rinse
Men-U ASB
Oud 24 Hours EDP

The Black Hawk really is a pleasure to use. Three passes and a minor touchup for a BBS shave. A quick spray of Oud 24 hrs and that is me ready for a screening of Dunkirk at the local cinema.
