Shark blades: anyone else like them?

Just tried one of the Shark Super Chrome blades. If "tuggy" is defined as pulling the hair out by the roots, then these blades were, indeed, tuggy. I think you could give @wayne mattison any of your old, used, rusted blades and he'd find them sweet.
How very dare you Mr Bowles. I doubt you should be shaving without supervision if that is your findings. Are you sure you lathered the soap properly? Did you use a decent razor or was it one of your pot metal special 10-a-penny Merkies? If you need any tips I'm happy to help. Ruddy cheek

I have said my feelings on the Astra blades as they are just awful in anything I have tried. I'm also not a lover of the Feather both DE and SE as they too are rough for me. I don't like Permasharps or Polsilvers, Personna injectors are bloody awful too. I have posted lots of times about blades I'm not keen on @Steve. I just got lucky with the Shark. I only have a small selection of blades but in decent quantities can I rely on, mostly Russian. I favour smooth over sharp. No insult taken ever with you mate. I love the banter.

It's so weird. I love Polsilvers, Permasharps, and Astras. In fact, along with Voskhods they're my cache. I'm with you on Feathers -- you have to be unique to get along with them.

It must be my beard/skin type but I find I do not need the uber sharp blades and they just cause me irritation, soreness and weepers. I do not think my razor line up could be called aggressive either which is why YMMV is so true in this little world of ours. One man's meat truly is another's poison in a lot of cases. That is good as it fuels debate and keeps us all going.

Today I stuck one in my Rockwell 6C using plate 3. Yet again it performed wonderfully. Smooth as silk and sharp enough for my beard. My flabber has never been as gasted. I cannot believe I like these blades. If I had not of read this thread and had some given I'd have missed out. If anyone has a few and fancies a swap let me know. I've a good selection of Voshies, Ladas, Rapira and Feathers.

Hi wayne

I love these blades, I wouldn't mind trading a few for a little variety pack of the ones you have above if possible. If not the voshies as I have some of the feathers already.

Mail me to see what we can sort out.

I like the astras!!! So if you want to chuck a few of those in as well, that's fine by me...

Just tried the Lord Platinum too in an Parker 24c and again a smooth comfortable shave. I would say these are up there with Russian blades for me something which Pakistani and Indian blades and things like Merkur and Bolzano are not for me.
