I think you misunderstood me , an Injector with aProline blade is superior to the Supply in my opinion

  2. No hassle needed because you can buy them from Connaught shaving here in the UK but there is still a cost involved so your best bet is to stick a Proline blade in your G1. P.

@Blademonkey Yea your kind gift of the G1 is really appreciated. I am using it more now and am getting used to the Single Edge feeling. It is a different technique with the thicker blade and I was getting quite a bit of razor burn to start with. I was looking at the Supply and that other aluminium single edge you can get from the US (forget the name of it) but I am happy with what I have at the moment. I can't afford to spend nigh on £100 on a razor at the moment!

@mpf9ret yea sorry I think i did. I thought you meant a proline in a supply was good lol. I'll feed back once I have put a proline in the G1, if I don't take my fingers off getting it in that is lol

  5. It's good you are getting used to it, and the shave you will get with the supply will not be any better to be honest so stick with your G1 and enjoy some good shaves with it. :) P.

How do these Proline blades compare to the yellow packet chicks that some are buying from the US. The Prolines have been out of stock for some weeks now and I don't know if I should just wait for a restock, or put in an order to the US supply..?

  7. They are very good indeed and worth seeking out.

  8. They are the smoothest SE blade I have ever tried and as efficient as the Pro. I use them on my mid-aggressive SE's

I find them much smoother than the Chinese Schicks. Not that the latter are bad blades, by any account.

    Thanks for the feedback guys..

  12. Last time I ordered, I just chose small packet and it was cheap. I didn't have to pay tax on them, but this is Cyprus.

If you choose small packet, they calculate shipping costs and give you a quote, in Yen. You can then choose to go ahead with the purchase.

Play safe, if you order 2 packets with delivery under £ 15-no tax
I took a chance ordered 3x B-20, at £5.66 per pkt delivered, no tax charged

Thank guys, I ordered two packs to see how it goes..
After you have placed the order, do they contact you with the postage cost?

Yeah. They usually calculate costs inc. shipping and email you. Once you’ve converted Yen to your currency, you can let them know. As @mpf9ret wrote, choosing the small packet option reduces costs.
