Scent of The Day

Talking of beautiful honey...

Xerjoff Naxos - received a small sample of this to compare to Mugler Pure Havane. The Havane is more syrupy, less floral (specifically jasmine) and has a 'heavier' cherry-tobacco note associated with it. The Naxos feels like it has more legs on it, so I would not be surprised if it does stick around longer as per my hypothesis. Naxos feels more premium but considerably more expensive. I don't think anyone would be disappointed with either, especially as they fit into the same bracket.

Arabian Oud Kalemat - a sweet, amber-oud blend with some vanilla-esque base to it. Distinct yet somewhat familiar. Not overly sweet, certainly not cloying. Feels like a powerhouse with only two sprays - I read one review which stated 3 sprays was 2.5 too many... I don't think this is far from the truth. Lovely stuff for a brisk day such as today.
