Lovely brush. Is it a Romera ?

Been waiting since January for my 2nd one. What wood is that please ?

Yeah I have 2 though I haven't a clue what wood it is as I bought this from a member of another forum. I bought a 28mm Manchurian fan direct from Gustavo and find it excellent as well. Given the recent problems with him..not sure I would buy direct from him again, though my brushes are excellent for the price. Hope your new one arrives soon.. what did you go for?

Pre Shave: Hot Shower, L'Oreal Hydra Power Face Wash and Proraso white
Razor: Qshave Futur clone
Blade: Astra SP (#2)
Brush: Mason Pearson Super Badger
Cream: La Toja
Post: Alum Block, Cold water and Thayers unscented
AS: Nivea Originals Replenishing balm

Second shave with the Futur clone, I upped it to 4 today and the result was still good but there was some mild irritation around the area under my chin, but it soon went post shave.
Hey @Bizzyberry - great looking brush. I didn't know Mason Pearson did shaving brushes. I have one of their military air-cushion hair brushes - works a treat and beautifully made. I suspect it will outlive me.
What are your thoughts on your MP shaving brush?

Yep - great blades.
Those Poles are good for more than just dodging Stukas and breaking English hearts at Wembley.
I still have nightmares about Tomaszewski.

Your'e right mate - what of hearty bean stews, stuffed cabbage leaves and vodka? When I left school I worked for the Forestry Commission in Argyll and there were two or three guys - retired - that were formerly Polish soldiers in the Second World War and had successfully got out of Poland. There was a prisoner of war camp in a place called Glenbranter and they were guards there. They married local girls and stayed on - working in the woods. Warsaw once had a Scottish-born mayor - in the early 17th century. Alexander Chalmers was his name. Cheers - I

I went for a Stereo in Red Heart. 24mm as my other Romera is 26mm.

PAA Prismatic razor
Gillette Wilkinson Sword blade (#3 China)
L&L Grooming Co. Cuir et Épices soap
Maggard 22mm black synthetic brush
Gillette Cool Wave AS

First time using this sample of buffalo tallow artisan soap that many are touting to be THE best, bar none. Fascinating scent of leather & spices (as the translated name infers) that lingers in the lather heavier than any soap I can recall. The shave was a DFS one, but perhaps to be fair I should have used a new blade. Jury still out.

OK where's my plastic disposable razors!
Only kidding, decided after last nights fiasco I would have a safe, easy shave, all my favourites, the infallible r89 with a voskhod Teflon coated, tabac etc.
I now have by far the worst cut to date right in the left corner of my mouth, the blade actually come to a stop with a flap of skin over the top of the blade! Instant blood letting on removal of the blade.
Anyway nothing compared to things I received in the ring during my twenties.
So, I smell blooming loverly, but have to talk through a very narrow mouth which my Mrs is presently finding completely hilarious.

R89
Voskhod Teflon blade
Grosvenor brush
Tabac soap
Tabac deodorant
Tabac lotion
1 suture (only kidding) :)
Have a great one fellas.
