This Marks & Sparks pre WWII Old Type clone is a very smooth and efficient shaver, and was aided superbly by the super slickness of the Vitos soap.
A great shave finished off with my favourite splash. It's just a pity it has all the staying power of a three-legged, geriatric greyhound.
All in all, a perfect start to a dreary Sunday morning.

I aquired this beautiful Holley straight razor and received it in the post yesterday from @Benz3ne , cheers ben. So I thought after a referesh on the strops I would take it for a test shave today. It's one beautiful razor and I'm pleased to say it shaves fantasticly too :) a lovely weighty razor that ozzes charm helped along with the fab B&M Laviathan the razor just mowed down what little stubble I had after yesterday's shave with the mighty Kropp! :)
A very relaxing shave with no interruptions , the perfect Sunday shave.

Much better shave on the 2nd use of the Focus. I figured out last time that pressure is your friend and this time got a easy, reasonable finish in 3 passes. However it's not for me. For halved DE blades, I much prefer the Rocnel SE-P's.
First use of Vitos red and very, very impressed. Very slick and a great post feel.

Chose to use a Vintage Injector after a few days on modern AC/ Single Edge Razors. My choice was one of my favourites which can take a Twin blade, the Type N3.

This Shave was smooth, and one could almost feel the second blade scything away the stubble. The finish that can be achieved by this pairing is quite astounding, and at no time during a Shave there seems little danger of sustaining any mishaps. IMHO I feel that a Shave with this combo is as good as many I have had with the modern AC powered Se Razors. Just a shame that the Twin Blades are quite expensive, in comparison to the modern AC offerings

"The Perfector", a completely mysterious French contribution to shaving, was near perfect indeed. I came very close to abandoning the third pass on the beard, and dispatched with the head shave in one plus cleanups. I'm looking forward to another shave with the Rockwell handle which is also a good fit. Finished the last of the Coate's Tea Tree which is fantastic stuff.

Afternoon shave.

Valobra Shave Stick.
RazoRock Bruce 24mm Synthetic.
Rockwell 6C (plate 4).
Gillette Nacet (1).
Proraso Aftershave.
BBA Post Shave Balm.

A very leisurely three pass shave for BB smooth. Goodness I enjoyed that. All I need now is a thumping win for the Spurs. Enjoy the rest of your weekend chaps (unless you support Liverpool).
