Blade: Proline #5
Razor: Feather SS Japanese style (On Loan @culcreuch )
Soap: Lea
Brush: Omega synthetic barber style.
Post: Alum.
EDT: L'Occitaine Cade

I spent almost 45 mins to achieve a 2 pass shave this evening concentrating on my technique with the feather.
One cut to the chin on my second pass but nothing too concerning.

I am pleased to report a great DFS shave and I am so proud to say that my cheeks are BBS.
What a razor this is.

Lethal in the wrong hands but I will persevere. ;)

Take care all!

Greetings All,

Saturday (First Floridian) pm shave.

One days' growth and warm shave

Preparation – face washed with some stuff, cannot remember and showered.

Pre: None
Soap: TOBS Lavender shaving soap
Razor: Merkur 34c
Blade: Shark SS (1st)
Brush: Razorock Plissoft 24mm (face lather)

Post Shave: Cold water rinse, then Hugo Boss aftershave and Nivea Sensitive Cooling Balm.

Welcome to my first Florida shave. Very enjoyable, bought over trusty weapons to clear away the whiskers. 3 great passes and nearly BBS, needed a few touch up, but ice cold beers were calling.

Visited Legoland Florida with the family this morning. Expensive yes, worth it, still debating but the queues were a LOT shorter than Disney, but the rides were not as long.

Have a good weekend all.

Cheers,

Brian

Ow found some Hugo Boss aftershave, so for w change I not only look good but smell better.

I wish I was with you rather than a wind swept South Wales today. :)

The Merkur 34c was my first DE razor and one I shall never forget @patw ;)

I love the razor and will never part with it.

Enjoy your time mate.

My face is feeling super smooth & smelling devine.;)

Saturday 21st October

La Toja stick
Razorrock 400
Merkur Futur
Treet Carbon (2)
Blue Stratos aftershave

It's been quite a while since I last used my Futur, it's been on long term loan to my son.
It certainly bought about a different side to the Treet carbon blade, and proved a good pairing.
I can't fault the La Toja shave stick. Easy to lather, and the cushion, glide and residual sickness are all top class. The post shave feel is very good too.

If you think Legoland is expensive try Discovery Cove! Which is superb experience. Enjoy your holiday [emoji41]

Sunday's shave :)

Pre-shave - Warm shower, Wright's Cold Tar Soap face wash, followed by Musgo Real Classic Glycerin Oil Soap
Razor - Rocnel-SE GEM.
Blade - PTFE GEM (Day 2).
Soap - Jack Black Supreme Cream Shaving Cream.
Bowl - Little Wren.
Brush - Simpsons Chubby 2 Synthetic Badger.
Post shave - Myrsol "Metilsol" Astringent After Shave, followed by Ibiza Aloe - Aloe Vera Gel.

A great, slow, relaxed Sunday morning shave. I only needed a 2 pass shave today WTG and ATG on the face, with a WTG and a WTG on the neck.

I decided to use the Musgo Glycerin Soap as a pre-shave/base to the lather. The Jack Black Cream lathered up well, and it felt like I was painting silk onto my face, with the Chubby Synthetic.

A great shave, today I had the sense that going for a third pass would have been to much. Some feedback from the Myrsol Splash, but the slight burn/tingle quickly went. The Ibiza-Aloe Gel quickly absorbed into the skin.

I hope that Rocnel make another "modern" GEM razor, dialing out some of the bugs from version 1.0. In my view, that could be a classic razor.

All the best,

Chris
