Great snap there, Looney. Unfortunately for me the weather isn't great and I am stuck indoors.

Can't wait to see your SOTD with the Calypso you won! ;)
View attachment 25496 Morning fellas!
Very slow start to the day as its the week in the month that I work both night and day with only a couple of hours sleep.
Decided it would be a treat to use the new brush, and the second of my recent soap purchase.
Really nice shave, easy lathering with the synthetic brush, now recharged and ready to lock and load again.
Have a great day you guys.:)
Muhle r89
Feather blade #1
P+b Solaris soap
Razorock 400
Superdrug as balm
Tabac stick deodorant
Tabac lotion.

I've recently got the same brush, and I'm just getting the hang of it having only had a badger brush.
It certainly lathers up!

Are you doing night inspections?

Greetings
I do not profess to be an authority on traditional SE blades but I do have a bit of experience and I am fairly sure that the PAL Carbon blades made by Personna are not shaving quality blades, I have certainly tried them and I did not find them good enough to have a comfortable shave with.

The PAL blades that are shaving quality are unfortunately not sold (to the very best of my knowledge) by anybody in the UK. They are sold in 10s in the USA and have the word "Super" on the box as do the GEM Blue Stars and the Treet carbon shaving quality blades.

The only shaving quality SE blades sold in boxes of 100 are the GEM Stainless Coated blades sold by Connaughts and all of the lab supply houses.

I have posted about it in the past I have found one of the postings here, but I am unable to find the others:-

Many thanks for your input, I do have my doubts about these Pal blades. My nextshave with the 1912 will be with the Gem Stainless blades, hopefully a much more comfortable experience.

I have no experience with PAL blades. I will note however that the manufacturer's website lists only one type of PAL single edge blade.

I think the blades aren't meant for shaving but they do give a good shave albeit not very comfortable during use :D Stick to Gems going forward
There are folks who would strongly disagree. And historically the PAL brand was associated with shaving blades. Try a GEM Blue Star and see if you feel any difference.

Bunny, carrots and onions, delicious !

I don't seem to get involved with much wildlife management these days.
It's a shame, I quite enjoy outside work
I will trade you! :D:D, I built the business nearly twenty years ago on the back of it, now I feel it on my back and knees!
Only kidding I still sort of love it, but now specialise in mat,s. So much easier.

Folks that use the PAL shaving quality blades still say they are great blades, unfortunately I have been unable to get any, whilst it is possible(at a ludicrous price) to buy GEM Blue Stars and Treet carbons I am unable to find any merchant willing to ship PAL shaving blades to the UK. The PAL blades in the 100 box that I tried can be purchased here and as I said I found them awful.
You folks in the states can get them off Amazon, and I am sure many other places including local drug stores.

Understood. I'm asserting that there may be no difference in the PAL blades other than packaging, they are both triple bevel blue carbon blades, and the Accutec site only lists one blade .
