Shaving recipe for today.

Prep: Warm shower:/Cussons Imperial Leather:~ Peppermint & Eucalyptus Shower Gel .

Pre:

warm wet flannel to my face.

Wilkinsons Fruits~Coconut & Vanilla Body Butter.

Brush: Omega ~'S' Series Synthetic.

Bowl Lather.

Cream : Truefitt & Hill~Rose (Sample)

Blade: Personna ~Super Comfort Coated .(2)

Razor: Merkur 37C .

Warm wet flannel/ cold wet flannel to rinse my face.

Post:

Peppermint Oil & Witch Hazel Mixture/Geoffrey Beene ~ Grey Flannel A/S .

Aloe Vera Gel.

Greetings,

Second shave using another Truefitt & Hill cream sample, was a pleasure to use, the slickness protection,& post shave feeling of this cream is excellent, it provided me with another wonderful 3 pass + pick ups shave with no errors to report.

My 37C is such a wonderful efficient razor to shave with, personally Merkur slant razors don't get the love they rightly deserve, paired up with the personna today it cut through the stubble with effortless efficiency ...A excellent duo,my shave today was the shave of the week.

Finishing the shave off in " woody & floral style," with a generous splash of Grey Flannel.

My face is feeling super smooth & smelling divine.;)

Enjoy your day, ladies & gentlemen.

@Number Six - the pictures you shared recently from Mexico - were really top-end for me. If you are not into posting here that is entirely fine. Each to our own. Although a different part of the country - they reminded me of of Malcolm Lowry's - 'Under the Volcano.' - yours - Iain.
Marvellous novel Iain. Although I did read it about 30 years ago. May have to revisit.

First full face shave with this feather SS......

Thur 6th July
Omega 11137 boar
Tabac
Brass General
Schick Proline Type P- [ 8 ]
Alum Rub/Rinse Off
Tabac A/S lotion

Have called off my idea of choosing between the General/Claymore as a favourite, as over the last two
days each has provided sterling Shaves. Am still not 100% sure of the General Handle though, though it does not slip I like a bit of knurling.

My big problem with todays shave was that I expected by now, I might be getting a bit of drag from the blade. But No ! do they ever dull, it seems funny not to have to change a blade at 6/7 uses. Todays Shave was so easy and smooth it was if it was a new blade, and the finish was a right " Going Out" one. The shave no doubt helped along by the Tabac, swirled into life by the Little Omega Boar [ under £10].

Pass-around razor _ Asylum Shave Work's "Evolution"

Prep....Shower - Lavender and olive oil soap.
Razor.... Asylum Evolution
Blade....Iridium Super extra stainless
Soap....Haslinger Schafmilch
Brush....Kent Bk8 silvertip
Post....Thayers Rose petal /BBA Post shave balm
Scent....Sublime Vanille - Mr Perfume

My first use of this pass-around razor and after I sorted a blade alignment problem the shave began.
Whipped up a beautiful creamy lather from the Haslinger Sheep's milk soap with the help of the BK8 and the Little Wren lathering bowl and had a pretty good shave, the iridium super is super sharp but quite smooth, I was left as smooth as I require but I did cause a little irritation on my neck but no blood loss so not too bad. The Thayers and BBA psb sorted my irritation out a treat.
Finnished off with a liberal application of Sublime Vanille and will be smelling sweet all day.

My first day's thoughts regarding this razor will be posted shortly on the lending pool section- Asylum Evolution.

Wishing you all a fabulous day.....:)
