Runny Ingrams cream

Have just returned to the forum after a few years absence. I was looking reviews on the Supply Injector. and have become hooked again. Liquid Ingrams was a problem 4 years ago.....I am surprised and disappointed to hear it has not been sorted by now.

Ingrams Cream is a Joke..Forums are Guilty of Perpetuating Crap Products with a Religious Zenith..Just Cause a Product is Popular in Forums Means Nowt..The Bible is Popular..So What..So is East Benders..;)

Perhaps you are right, but it is quite disappointing that another British product is getting unpopular and not performing good. Perhaps it is on the edge of discontinuation. I would love to see a historic brand a British shaving cream being sold and be popular especially among wet shavers.
Wouldn't you feel little bit guilty with your comment if they seize the production?
Yes some(or almost all) batches are runny and the company should have rectified this fault.

Spanish Myrsol already makes liquid shaving cream, maybe Ingram should market it a the only British made liquid shave cream?

I had a sample of Lucky Tiger liquid shave which I tested back to back with Ingrams, they behaved exactly the same... Cant help but wonder if theres been some form of unofficial reformulation and its now normal to be runny? Is there anybody out there who's purchased one recently and actually got cream out of the tube? The tube just says "Quality lather shave" ... Thats pretty vague.

Hmm I have new evidence that shows my post directly above this one is incorrect, there is no reformulation... Yesterday I purchased a tube from Superdrug in Chichester, I had previously purchased the stores last (runny) tube but they have now restocked so I seized the opportunity to try a fresh batch. I used it this morning and it came out the tube a wet cream, nowhere near as runny as my last one... Shave quality was identical though so if you have runny tube I shouldn't worry about it.

I did an Ingram week in the last five days as the weather simply asking for it, my tube is from the co-op chemist and bought around Xmas and it is a cream, I did notice this week when temperature gone up to 33c outside that is was far liquid in form. Never the less it is all that needed in the Menthol department, the more menthol will be too much.

I bought some Ingrams from Superdrug at the weekend and used it on Tuesday, it was also runny, but it lathered up ok. Can't say I liked the scent that much, but I'll still use it up.

Ok so finally got a reply from ingram's customer service. They sent me a replacement that was even worse than the tube I brought. The new tube was was on a par to nivea liquid balm. So I sent them another email and they replied they released they'd had some other manufacture issues and could I wait for another batch coming in. Fast forward and I get the email below.

"Good afternoon Mehmet,
Unfortunately, we do not have a fresh stock of the Ingram's shave lather but we will be happy to provide a Love2shop Refund Shopping Voucher.

Kind regards,

Seems like they've twigged they'll not be able to get the cream fixed. IMO Its going to be liquid from here on guys.

Forget the Ingrams.

Get tube of Nivea shave cream and some menthol crystals.

Lather in a bowl and add the crystals as required.

Job done.
