Availability: Ebay & Vendors own website

Cost £3.50

Made and shipped from UK.

Ingredients: coconut oil, olive oil, rice bran, shea butter, tea tree oil, lavender oil and palm oils.

Declared weight 70g+, actual weight 95g.

First impressions – Small square bar arrived simply wrapped in plain brown paper, oil from the soap have stained the paper and the soap is slight soft and quite oily to touch.

Scent – Strong woody tea tree scent with a slightly sweet “play dough” undertones. In my mind not a particularly pleasant scent but I appreciate that is subjective.

Lather – Terrible, I struggled to get anything approaching a usable lather from this soap, I took a good while starting dry and adding water to little avail, lather was thin and barely usable, turning from scarce paste on brush at first to light foam during watering, neither provided a comfortable shave and the foam dissipating on face during use 2/10

Cushion – Poor, provided little cushion 2/10

Lubrication – Actually pretty good, probably due to the high oil content 7/10

Post shave – Poor, irritation throughout face after shave 2/10

Snog/Marry/Avoid? Avoid, I had planned this as a week long test but given poor quality of soap I'm calling it quits after day one.

A good honest review..;)..I was past on some 'Funky soap' by a friend, that was exactly the same as above, i tried all ways to make it work, but it was a failure in all required shaving soap essential needs...I ended up using it as a hand soap, instead of throwing it in the bin.
A great soap that i purchased from Ebay is this https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Mens-col...875078&hash=item28195c784e:g:DGkAAOSwVExap4Mo
I can wholeheartly vouch that this is a great shaving soap for the price,a superb lather, slickness and post shave feeling, and won't leave your face looking like a 'baboons arse'.. I recently done a re-order, it has went up in price slightly, but well worth it..Just a thought. Regards.B

Wholeheartedly agree B. I melted 2 cakes into a tub. It hits way above its price.
