WHAT IS IT, AND WHAT DOES IT DO?

BBA Post Shave Balm - A balm for applying after a shave.

APPLICATION METHOD AND DESCRIPTION:

It's a very easy to apply product. Simply dispense one pump into the finger tips and gently massage into shaved area.

SCENT:
The scent of the BBA Post Shave Balm is fairly neutral, if I'm honest it's difficult to nail down the specifics, but it's safe to say it's a pleasant scent.

PERFORMANCE:
The job of a post shave balm is to moisturise and soothe the skin after shaving. It is also meant to leave your skin feeling soft and silky. Does the BBA Post Shave Balm do this? Let me answer that question with another. Do bears do their business in the woods?

Without doubt, this is a top performer. I've used this with my least aggressive shave, most aggressive shave and several aggression options in between, and I cannot find a flaw in the performance at all. Against an uber aggressive shavette shave that leaves me feeling a little raw, BBA Post Shave Balm really shone. Almost instantaneous soothing and cooling. What more can you ask for?

CONCLUSIVE COMMENTS:
Let's start with the performance, in one word - stellar. Second is the dispensing bottle, it's ideal in that it offers a measured dose, so you don't use too much. Third is the price. At £22 for 100ml (22p/ml), it's certainly not the cheapest balm on the market, but neither is it the dearest. What you have to consider here is the balance between price and performance. BBA Post Shave Balm is a top performer, I'd go so far to say the best performing balm I've used, so with this in mind, I have to say it is a good balance, so worth the money without a shadow of a doubt. I know that some people struggle to justify purchases (believe you me, I am one of them), but this is a no brainer.

A final observation on the Post Shave Balm that cannot be ignored, the colour. It is a deep red/brown. Strange I hear you say in hushed tones, but this is quite a useful thing. The colour hangs around during application, and disappears when you've massaged the balm in properly. A genius touch in my humble opinion.

how does it compare to Edwin Jagger Moisturing After Lotion, which is the best I have ever tried?
