Pretty sure thats some kind of re-badged Seiko on the right. It's got the same Seiko 5 emblem that you find on their automatics and the day/date windows & font looks the same.

To change the day (not date) do you press the crown in?

yeh, they were really nice watches. they did a smart analogue one that you just never seem to see-i keep looking though! i have a gold one identical to the silver but it is a bit shabby-it has served me well though!
@jaycey it may be. i am quite sure its japanese , the day is not altered by a press like on the seikos, just one way for day and the other for date.

EDIT: i am wrong, apparently, its swiss.

Interesting, if you ever have the back off get a picture of the movement for me please ;)
It's a nice looking watch and that strap complements it nicely. Good stuff!

My local charged £3. It was worth it.

Be careful when you pop the pins out. They are held in by tiny collars.

Lose a collar and you are stuffed.

Wow those collars are weeny lol.. Just watched a you/tube video explaining all with adjusting the strap.
Thanks for the heads up [emoji108]

Found a very informative site explaining how to resize a Seiko Mini Monster strap.

Watch kit from eBay arrived. Adjusted the strap tacking out one link each side of the strap.. Luckily the strap doesn't have the collar and pin.. Just the pins well happy now [emoji2]

I was wondering about these pins as I have the same watch but with an Orange Face and they were just pins. The tools you can get are great though, they make the job so much easier.

That is indeed a nice version of the Mini Monster.
