Saturday:

19 mile walk to neighbouring town and back via rural path followed by 2 mile evening walk with my ageing dog who, by the time we returned, had almost forgiven me for leaving him behind earlier. Bugger all else 'cos I was cream crackered after that and rather bloated following a monster Ruby.

Sunday:

8 mile walk with that damn hill run again
900 calf lifts
131 press ups (35,32,33,31)
135 sit ups (40,35,30,30)
120 leg raises (4x30)
4x10 reps ez curl bar with 35kg
120 squats
48 shoulder pull-lift thingies on each arm with 15kg disc weight (4x12)

Monday:

5 mile walk with run up bastard hill
900 calf lifts
100 press ups (35,33,32)
105 situps (40,35,30)
90 leg raises (3x30)
80 squats
90 clenches on each hand with 200lb heavy grips (3x30)
24 shoulder pull-lift thingies on each arm with 15kg disc weight (2x12)

There's already a mail box and plenty of houses, N. And it isn't all that big a hill really but 3/4 of the way to the top it morphs into the most hated thing on the planet. Kirkhill, I hereby rename you Expletive Hill!

Been using Runkeeper to track my walks as a friend introduced me to it. Quite happy with it so far.

Give the Gentlemans club a try fella. With Strava you can highlight a segment of your walk (County Hill for instance) name it (what you like ;) ) and we can all cheer (jeer) everytime you climb it!

You can also add pictures (we love a selfie) and comments to your efforts.

Settled with Runkeeper as I have a whole 2 friends on it and we occasionally go for a walk together. Besides, we seem to motivate each other and I wouldn't want to jeopardise that. Unless I can run Strava concurrently with Runkeeper? Bit of a battery drain perhaps?
 
This week I have completed the following:

320 laps of a 25m pool
2 hours 15 mins cross trainer
300 reps of the rowing machine on 10
3 hours 15 mins on the treadmill
75 chin ups
75 tricep dips
550 sit ups including inclined, leg raise and suitcase.
45 mins mountain climber

I'm feeling like Rambo

Yesterday:

6.5 mile walk with usual run up that bitch of a hill
850 calf lifts
94 press ups (33,31,30)
105 situps (40,35,30)
82 leg raises (30,26,26)
3x10 reps ez curl bar with 35kg total
2x10 each arm shoulder pull-lifts thingies with 15kg disc weight
80 squats

Felt as weak as a half-starved kitten but pushed through in the end.

Today:

8 mile walk with usual end
900 calf lifts
102 press ups (35,34,33)
105 situps (40,35,30)
82 leg raises (30,26,26)
90 clenches on each hand (3x30) with 200lb heavy grips
82 squats
2x10 each arm shoulder pull-lifts thingies with 15kg disc weight
....and umpteen muckle great farts making a very windy workout - anybody else get this?

Felt a real buzz tonight but maybe that was just the chocolate and large pot of tea beforehand?
Can't fart in the pool old boy, would make for some strange looks and possible follow through could be tragic. May end up on the wall of shame, next to the girl who conveniently 'started' during spin. Quite an interesting class.
