Aye, get well soon TP.

Yesterday:

6.5 mile walk with usual run up that bitch of a hill
850 calf lifts
94 press ups (33,31,30)
105 situps (40,35,30)
82 leg raises (30,26,26)
3x10 reps ez curl bar with 35kg total
2x10 each arm shoulder pull-lifts thingies with 15kg disc weight
80 squats

Felt as weak as a half-starved kitten but pushed through in the end.

Today:

8 mile walk with usual end
900 calf lifts
102 press ups (35,34,33)
105 situps (40,35,30)
82 leg raises (30,26,26)
90 clenches on each hand (3x30) with 200lb heavy grips
82 squats
2x10 each arm shoulder pull-lifts thingies with 15kg disc weight
....and umpteen muckle great farts making a very windy workout - anybody else get this?

Felt a real buzz tonight but maybe that was just the chocolate and large pot of tea beforehand?

Work out provided by my place of work today. Hedge tamed to a rough 4' level hedge trimmer, bow saw and pruning saw all in play followed by emptying the 'cage' of old desks, chairs and general heavy rubbish.

Now well and truly feeling like I really am 50 after all - ouch...ooo....aah
 
Aye, five hours graft in the gairden myself today. Container planting, 7' hedge trimmed with my trusty old manual shears (I call them my 'clackers' as they make a lovely sound) and like yersel good Count, some general heavy lifting and tidying. Honestly, the amount of time I seem to spend in gardens with a sweeping brush in my hands is ridiculous. Looking forward to my exercises tonight - I need the break! :D

Staggered up the stairs to fix my protein shake after that lot. Weaker than my 92 year old Granny! The walk and calf lifts were earlier in the day as I couldn't manage all of that in one go but sometimes the calf lifts don't get done 'til exercise time. N'other heavy day in the 'gairden' tomorrow.....:confused:

Got some crunchy almond butter to stick in my protein shake amongst other uses and it's fair braw!

30 laps 25m pool
30 dips
30 chin ups
5 a side football

Thurs:
30 laps 25m pool
1hr 30mins of squash

Sat:
50 laps of 25m pool
45mins cycling
30 mins rowing
